NVIV - InVivo Therapeutics - Page 5

Today's price action was interesting... I remember when they announced the price of the last offering on Dec. 22 at $2.04/share we were trading above $2.50 and the stock didn't react at all, then again I think the last offering was only for a million or so shares, this time was for 8 million.  A higher price would've been nice but, $2.10 is still decent.  It's funny how some people actually sold their shares below $2.10 today...doesn't make much sense in the bigger picture.  Emotions drive the market I guess.  But nothing has changed really, and I think we'll be at $2.50+ again by the end of February, after all the 8million shares in this offering went to strong hands, they aren't looking to flip their position in a few weeks...

Some recent headlines indicate that InVivo is building a very solid team to take these products to market. I don't think Frank wants to sell this company to JnJ or Medtronic or Stryker etc., I think he intends on building a revolutionary business around their SCI technology and growing the business from concept through the FDA and finally to sales/marketing.  This is very exciting and to be able to get in literally at the ground floor level. The other headline indicates that big investors want in on NVIV and they're paying $2.10 a share to do so. I think anywhere below $2.50 is a good place to accumulate shares.  This will be an excellent long term investment.

I'd like to see a close this week above $2.50 especially on the weekly chart.

We've been on a nice and steady recovery since the selloff last week, and it's nice having a position in something that isn't as susceptible to overall market, especially up here at Dow 13k.

Definitely true.  NVIV, in general, will not correlate well with the broad market and will rise or fall based on the more or less binary outcomes of the upcoming clinical trials.

It'll be a fun ride that's for sure.

Although we didn't get a weekly close about $2.50 like I had wanted the shares are trading lightly without many people willing to sell at this level.  When buyers come in again to scoop up a significant amount of shares the price will move up very fast.

Looks like I was 1 day off. biggrin.gif

Not too shabby... lookin good at $2.70.  I bet everyone that panicked a couple weeks back and let go of their shares at $2.10 regretting that decision.

The investors presentation has been updated and provides a good overview of NVIV for those who are new as well as the expected timelines (the slow FDA has slowed things down).

Just an aside it is so funny to see the threads with thousands of posts and hundreds of thousands of views are always the biggest PoS stocks....and NVIV a legitimate company that could potentially revolutionize SCI and it's just me and Fizz here.

I think this could be one of the biggest winners ever posted in the penny stock section, IMO.

I agree with you, I learned about this stock back in the $2.00 range over a year ago and then got in large at $0.60 range.  This has a big upside.

Also, I check in daily to this thread, just dont always post!

Nice to know others are following the stock.

I basically followed the same pattern as you, averaging down and making my biggest purchases below $1.  I think we'll continue to consolidate until we get the nod from the FDA to begin human trials.

Breaking out on light volume (not too many shares left at this level).  If any big buyer comes in the lid will blow off this stock.

Range is really tightening up. Hopefully we see an upside breakout on volume soon taking us over $3.

Take a look at the volume by price from the $2 to $3 range.  Massive accumulation at these levels creates a great floor for a move much higher. This is perfect consolidation phase right now.

Also, if you look at the 3 month resistance line, we've been pushing up against it all week.  Few people left selling their shares under $2.60.  Will likely see a nice break above this resistance soon with the potential for news pending their meeting with the FDA next month... Things are moving along nicely thumbup.gif

The chart is setting up in quite a tantalizing manner!  Excited to see what next week brings.

Wonder if there's anything behind this little drop today; volume picked up a bit too.  Might add some if it drops more.  Looking forward to hearing about the April 12th meeting next month...

Someone clearly taking some profits and unloading shares into a thin market.  The general market is WAY overextended and perhaps people are nervous and want to pull profits from their profitable positions.

I've got bids placed at $2.20 and $2.10 just in case some fool is dumb enough to dump to that level. biggrin.gif

The FDA meeting should be interesting.

We're holding the 50dMA and lower Bollinger band as support. Consolidating nicely with the BBs tightening up.

Obviously two options: 1) Break down and catch support at about $2.00 or 2) Break to the upside above $2.70 and make a run for $3 and a blue sky breakout

I think the outcome of the FDA meeting will be the catalyst for 1 or 2.

As far as I am aware the company hasn't said much about the details of this meeting next week.  So depending on the significance of what is discussed/announced the stock price could have a strong reaction.  Hoping we get a positive surprise!

Here's a post I found on the Yahoo board (so please take with a grain of salt):

"I have been in contact with Frank Reynolds and he tells me the company would not have any comment until it receives the FDA's official decision after the meeting which should be within 30-60 days.
So no reason to hold our breath on this for a while.
Share price may stagnate or slide again for a few more weeks.

Bob"

According to this poster, Frank indicates that they expect an official decision on the trials soon after this meeting.  At 2.25 x 2.28, I may have to grab some more shares.  However, it could very well go lower if we don't get news for a while...
