Its as if RIM is going out of business...

There is value here, just not yet.

i will buy some when it hits $15

I'll keep an eye on this sucker and consider buying November / December. This will come back Q1 of next year with the release of the next gen...

I am watching this stock.

Despite it's uncertanty it has to hit it's rock bottom where the opportunity of earnings stablizes and shows the opportunity to grow. They are a solid company even though they have many disturbing headlines. They do have dominance in the tablet and cell phone area. I own a I phone and I see about 10 - 1 i phone owners to black berry, but that does not mean things won't change.

I am actually sick of my I phone and the lack of flash. Black Berry at least is situating it's self on the fact this is important to people. I would not buy Apple right now as I think they will lose market share to the Android, which seems to be the big thing right now.

I will wait and see and I will bet RIM will see a reversal and a nice growth especially if their earnings stay moderately strong, and start growing.

"They do have dominance in the tablet"   Now that is a bit of stretch....  The RIM story isn't over, nor has it rock bottom yet.

camandi...good luck to you but I think you're going to lose your shirt with TRE and RIM (if you decide to buy)...

Are you doing any research before buying in? Don't just look at the charts..

I am with Waddy. I hope you shorted TRE this morning and then got out... As for RIM i wouldnt touch it right now. Earnings are down, new gen phones are pushed back again, new tablet wont be out til 2012.... no good news yet.

Man, another -4% to $25 now... The only good thing I can see here is that the volume is dropping off, meaning there are less sellers willing to let it go. At some point the remaining longs just say "screw it, Im not even going to look anymore", that time is nearing.

RIM finally catching a break, +4% off the 52wk lows.

I have been watching rim fall from $60 dollars and have been waiting until I see the company reaches it's balancing point. I look at financials and stuff and watch stock. With tree, who now it is a gamble but so what if I lose, because I win many gambles and that is the game I play, The gambles i win allow me to compound my dividend portfolio much faster and I have a set fund I use to take long gamble positions. It works very effectively for me and I have compounded my portfolio very nicely because of stocks like tree. If the position fails, Oh well, maybe later a better opportunity will come buy, or later on maybe it will hit a big price rise. I have years... It is not like I am investing all my eggs into this stock, I have some in Manulife, CN Rail (At $48) Some in Finning, stocks like that, but I don't mind taking a gamble along with my portfolio, especially when the company shows a big revenue. It is not like those silly hot penny stocks that peope alert you about that have no fundamentals and then everyone is shorting on them. At least TRE has potential and that is what I considered, if not now in later on in time it could easily.

RIM +1.5%!

On a day like this, it is very promising for a long trade here at $28.50

coulda woulda shoulda.. ya..

Serious rebound action today, I could not bring myself to play it, but this worked out well for anybody who got these recent lows!

RIM is dead and is bound for takeover. Nokia missed out on the smartphone craze but will launch Q1 2012 IIRC. Huge reach with limited downside here.  Windows platform might be a drawback but this might provide another attractively priced takeover target.

the globe continues to publish negative articles on rimm...

ceo step down...and a letter by workers...not looking good...we will see it break the 25s...and spiral downward...

on a bright spot..they bought some nortel patents

there is no point owning anything but apple...

Wheres the insider buying though? If there is no more bad news coming down the pipeline and this is just market foolishness wouldn't someone be picking up some nice shares on the cheap ?
