CherryCoke's ALL OR NOTHING (Binary Options) Odyssey - Page 39

Tes that would be great as I am quite successful with end of day expiry but keeps me at computer all day basically and would like to try the short expiry. I see from your shot that you just put the oirder in fre minutes before the trade closes. Can you eleborate how you decide the direction at such short notice?

Done for today. 6/10, single pair, EURUSD, profit of $624.45

I closed out early as the market began to tank. I closed out at a loss but shut the position down at a value of £92 so lost 8% on the position.

Basically I have complete control, once I trade I can either hold to the end of day and I either get full return or zero or I can sell at any point during the day to take a proffit or limit a loss. If the market closses between my two boundaries I get the full quoted return.

If sell before the end of day you do not get the full return.... An option by definition either matures at 0 or 1 "time to maturity determines this and as time continues the contracts moves closer to either 0 or 1.

If I bought a £100 FTSE option with PYXmarkets that would mature at £500 at 8am. If at noon I was in the money it would be worth circa £250 and I could take that profit. If it was out of the money half way through the day it would be worth circa £50.

Hope that helps. I'll keep posting trade shots.

First play of the morning.

With Greek still uncertain even after a positive election I can predict a volatile days trading.

Two trades covering a UK bank up and down will net me a strong return either way. Now all I do is wait for direction and sell the loss making trade around 20% down..... I can achieve a higher net return at close of business by cutting my losing trade early.

Record not so great today (5 for 9) but recovery trades save the day. I like this 2 - 3 hour trading window. Now, off to the gym.smile.gif

So here you can see that I have already made 108% from this trade, I could sell this if I wanted to take the profit.

I will leave this to run for a while longer to as I still have room to make a further 180% from my original position, if left to close out the day in the money the full return will be £389 from a £100 trade.

How are you finding it with PYX. Completely different system to learn how to use right.

I traded demo for around two weeks to test out some strategies. I am doing quite well with this platform now and very rarely sell positions early.... unless I have traded both side of an asset.

Here's what not to do. Got too aggressive today with the MM and trades. Should have quit while I was ahead. Not too volatile today, perhaps investors are waiting for The Fed tomorrow.

Note to self: Sideways markets in a tight range are no good to trade, wait for the break.

Beastly Smartbum! See you raised your initial again. Good stuff. Nice job on only hitting the recovery only on the 3rd trade once. Good consistency.

Decent day, started having issues getting the trades through and was very tired towards the end of the night session. Few trades started getting way too close and broke even so I decided to call it a night. Slowly building this up so I can smartbum it.

u might want to explore how to exploit the sideways or indecisiveness  of the market. Boundary trading features might come in handy.

Thanks Bro! Will try the double-up & recovery next week, see how it'll perform. You did some nice trades also.

Had a great start today, then ran into a hiccup. 20 min expiry was too long, sucker reversed on me.

I'm not yet qualified for recovery trading, sure fire way to blow up my account. 2guns.gif

I'm just trying to specialize in the hi/low trading. My S/R strategy works well, you just have to know when S/R is not going to hold. That will come with screen time.
