Always Datemike on 24O. I think all brokers are doing the same thing, that's why you're always OTM after the execution. Once I've been rejected twice, I just cancel the order. Kinda frustrating sometimes cause you've been waiting for that set-up to happen.

I agree, but it works in your favor sometimes.

I want to be like you when i grow up, lol.

If you execute a trade at say 1.27875 and the binary option platform you use receives the order when the market has changed to 1.27880 what do you think will happen? The joys of web based trading.

Clear your computers cache if there is an uncomfortably long wait while it processes your order. Happens to me all the time and it is annoying, i need to upgrade my computer though.

Having the mindset that brokers are out to get you does not help things.

'that's why you're always OTM after the execution' are you sure about that? You have never been ITM directly after a trade? From a brokers point of view it doesnt matter to them what happens a few seconds after you place a trade. They are more interested in the expiry price.

Ultimately im more concerned in the expiry price aswell rather than what happe a few seconds into a trade. It can go up,down,up,down,up,down as long as my expiry price is correct who cares. Seconds being the key word. If we are talking minutes then that is different altogether.

Done for today. Start on low gear bets. Same old pairs.

This is where a good money management comes into play. Even if you're only averaging a 50% hit rate, you're still trading bulletproof.

Funny how everybody's searching for a perfect entry system instead of a robust MMS. smile.gif

what exactly is money management about that? your basically just doubling down if you lose & they go back to the lower amount after you expire in the money. what happens if you lose after $223? you gonna put down $400?

LOL Datemike, what's the meaning of a system for you? If I can be wrong 6 or 8 in a row and yet I can still apply my recovery without a heavy dent on my equity, I don't know what you call that.

if you lose 6 or 8 in a row you gonna really bet 1000? to recover those loses?

Possible. Again as I've said, as long as there's no heavy dent on my equity and it's under my limit. Isn't obvious that I always use low gearing on my bets, that's the purpose.

But seriously, if you're on a habit of losing 6-8 in a row, you shouldn't be trading. LOL

Good day all.

I am relatively new to binary options and I thought I would share some trades with the board. I had a major break through last week and started to get my win percentage up to where I think I can make a go of it. I believe it's all about the entry price. A good entry will win on any time expiry. My money management plan consists of starting at $25/trade and doubling trade amount each new month, topping out at $5000/trade. Lofty goals I know but doable as long as win percentage averages at least 70%. Max 5 trades per day. I need to improve on that first trade of the day. (I'm near Toronto, Canada, EST)

Starting slowly but surely. Go for it Jake!

Hey Jake,

Looks very good!

What are you using before taking your entry? Timeframe and indicators? Or is it only price action on a clean chart?

Can you maybe explain when it a bit more?

Thanks

Clean chart, 5 min time frame. Like most newbies I tried indicators with no success.

I'm using two strategies:

1. Pin bars - look for a candle with a long wick gives you an idea which direction it wants to go (support/resistance). Entry point is to wait for a retrace at least half way into the wick. No retrace, no entry.

2. Bounce off support. Entry as near to support line as possible. Should also work for bounce off resistance.

Here's my one loser today. Another 20 min and it would have been a good trade.

for such strategy, discipline and patience are of the highest order.

and it seems that u have pretty much managed them. i dont think u need to feel bad about those OTM. u cant win them all.

good job !thumbup.gif

Thanks Cherry, you are my inspiration.

I've been at this a few months and now I'm starting to have some success. Patience, discipline and emotional control are the hardest attributes to overcome. I no longer feel nervous when I have a trade on and am much quicker to "pull the trigger".
