Correction.. that should be 759 words for newpapers...150 words would be like a fifty cent newpaper.

Could ORTSBO translate 50 cent lyrics into english??  omg, lol...

all i can tell you is that its one of the most accurate translators in the world and will be soon the most accurate by far when they introduce wiki...basically people will be able to send continuously send slag words into a data base, and ortsbo will always be updating itself everyday. They strive for 95% accuracy once this system is set up and we will go from 52 languages to 0ver 80 very soon. so basically leaving ortsbo as the worlds top translator and the only one that is instant. don't be shocked to see Facebook implement it in its chat soon enough, they currently use bing translator and its terrible. Facebook wants to enhance their chat platform and ortsbo would  ideally be perfect for this. Also the marvel avengers twitter chat is today, we are moving on up!!! congrats on getting in, i bet it will be one of the best investment choices you made in a long time

chat with.

The average daily newspaper contains only about 150 different words, this surprises most people.. including me. These words vary from day to day. To "get along" in the english language requires mastering only about 1000 words, something that a seasoned traveller can do in most languages, given the opportunity. So how would ORTSBO do with

"He was a man who did not hide his avarice ." Would it be gramatical intact to the receiver or would it come out in Yodanese i.e. "Hide his avarice he was a man who did not."

No need to reply to these ramblings unless you want to. Not putting it down .. I just really do not know how good it would be at the more arcane english words.

Like avarice ( 12 points in scrabble)...or arcane (8 points).wink.gif

This is for all the people who say Ortsbo is just a "simple" translator...well please read the open letter from Mr.FACEBOOK creator, speaks volume about how huge ortsbo can be..indirectly of course

LETTER FROM MARK ZUCKERBERG

Facebook was not originally created to be a company. It was built to accomplish a social mission — to make the world more open and connected.

Facebook Files $5B IPOWe think it’s important that everyone who invests in Facebook understands what this mission means to us, how we make decisions and why we do the things we do. I will try to outline our approach in this letter.

At Facebook, we’re inspired by technologies that have revolutionized how people spread and consume information. We often talk about inventions like the printing press and the television — by simply making communication more efficient, they led to a complete transformation of many important parts of society. They gave more people a voice. They encouraged progress. They changed the way society was organized. They brought us closer together.

Today, our society has reached another tipping point. We live at a moment when the majority of people in the world have access to the internet or mobile phones — the raw tools necessary to start sharing what they’re thinking, feeling and doing with whomever they want. Facebook aspires to build the services that give people the power to share and help them once again transform many of our core institutions and industries.

There is a huge need and a huge opportunity to get everyone in the world connected, to give everyone a voice and to help transform society for the future. The scale of the technology and infrastructure that must be built is unprecedented, and we believe this is the most important problem we can focus on.

We hope to strengthen how people  relate to eachother.

Even if our mission sounds big, it starts small — with the relationship between two people.

Personal relationships are the fundamental unit of our society. Relationships are how we discover new ideas, understand our world and ultimately derive long-term happiness.

haa i know david its coming but honestly 80 cents is not what im after...the facebook IPO valuation opened up many eyes and left many ppl empty handed that want in social media plays...Ortsbo will fill this void and at much cheaper reseaonable valuation. I know what happened here, the valuation of Ortsbo has skyrocketed from the low ball 210 mill users. Gene simmons in a recent interview let it slip that we had over 50 million users a month and that was decembers #'s. Since then China alexa rankings has took off over 1000 spots. We are easily at 60 million users now ppl and this doesnt include the mobile downloads. These are facts not pumping..ppl dont realize this gem on the crappy venture exchange. Ortsbo has so many revenue generating synergies that will soon be unleashed....And remember INT is not only Ortsbo, read about the other products....you will be amazed and how aggresive and smart our management is. cheers to all even the pathetic bashers that continue to attack me even in PM's banana.gif

there is an article up on cnbc that talks about Gene SImmons and angry birds and sony i believe. Maybe this is one of the first video game applications that ortsbo will help out with the translation so they can market the game to everyone? I believe something was leaked last week, we might have some partnerships and revenue deals coming into place...exciting times thats for sure

Gene Simmons knows business as well as he knows rock n roll. In addition to selling over 100 million records and DVDs, he’s turned KISS into a licensing behemoth that includes over 3,000 items ranging from condoms to coffins. Now the star of the hit reality TV series, “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”, has entered the technology space with Ortsbo (Ortsbo.com). The rock legend has joined the digital language translation company, in part, because he speaks five languages (English, Hebrew, Hungarian, German, and some Japanese) and is learning Mandarin.

Simmons, who was at the Sundance Film Festival with comic book legend Stan Lee last week, talks about how Ortsbo, and technology, is changing music, and the world, and offers his thoughts on music video games in this exclusive IndustryGamersinterview. Note near the end his comments on securing an Angry Birds game deal and that he's in talks with Sony PlayStation as well.

IndustryGamers: What role can Ortsbo play in helping people learn new languages and connect with other cultures?

Gene Simmons: It is really a fascinating idea. If you have a moment today and you know anybody overseas or anywhere that speaks another language, all they need is a text device or an email device and you can use Orstbo for free. There’s nothing to join and it works with your online experience like Facebook, MSN, Twitter and it’s even in the Apple Store for iPad and iPhone. Once you’re in there you type in whoever it is that you want to communicate with and they will receive your texts or emails in real-time in their language. And you’ll receive responses in English. They don’t even have to be on Ortsbo to communicate with you. We already have 50 million unique visitors from over 170 countries.

IG: You mentioned Facebook, how can Ortsbo impact casual online gamers who play Zynga and other games online?

GS: Well, of course it’s the connection. Anywhere people try and communicate and have a language barrier we are now making those connections. Gaming, of course, but we’re also helping the military, and branching into education. Even in America you have something like 20 million “illegal” immigrants who have language difficulties, but everybody has a cell phone. If you’re in a third world country, even before food, you have a cell phone. That’s the amazing thing. Ortsbo is really going to help humanity, if I may be so bold.

IG: What’s your favorite piece of technology that you can’t live without today?

GS: I suppose my cell phone because it’s all things. It’s got my computer in there. I can text and take videos and photos, and that’s about all I need for. But I can certainly access Ortsbo on my cell phone. I can vocally record ideas if I’m writing a song. So that’s pretty much the handheld device that's the all in one.

"While the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we’re busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before."

IG: Back in the day Gathering of Developers released aKISS Psycho Circus video game. What opportunities do you potentially see out there for KISS and videogames?

GS: Well, we’re talking with Sony games now. We are really trying to take it in areas that haven’t been done before and have stayed out of the marketplace because the ideas simply weren’t exciting enough. So while the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we’re busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before. So Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there’s KISS Hello Kitty, which we’ve already launched in 90 countries. We’re talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal. The KISS and the Archie world have now teamed up and the first issues of KISS Archie comic books hits the world this month. KISS golf courses are starting in Las Vegas right across from the Hard Rock. That opens in January. It’s just endless what we can do, but we only do things when it’s right. Just because there are games, and just because there’s this or that out there, unless the deal is right and unless the content is exciting to our fans, we don’t do it.

IG: How have you seen gaming impact the music industry over the years?

GS: Technology has impacted the music industry in more ways than even it understands. People think it’s about the Internet, but it’s usually a cold experience. You’re just watching it. The more you get involved, the more it connects with you and the more you’re doing it and the more you control the music and the visuals, the more it becomes important. It becomes a part of you. Guitar Hero is pretty addictive. Once you play it, it’s going to be tough not to want to get up in the middle of the night either alone when nobody is looking, or with your friends.

IG: What’s the last video game you played?

GS: Nicholas brought me in and we started playing -- I can’t tell you what the name of it was -- but all of a sudden I’m on another reality and I’m being chased. The Angry Birdspeople were up here and we sat down and we played Angry Birds. We blew some buildings apart, catapulted some of the birds, and then their eggs were stolen.

IG: You were the voice of the demigod in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, but we’re not seeing new Guitar Hero or Rock Band games this year. What are your thoughts about the potential future for music video games?

GS: I think people got used to it and somebody’s going to have to find a new way to use that. Music isn’t going anywhere. People want that. You just have to figure where and how music is going to be used. Maybe just the cliché of a band up there and a guy with a guitar on the neck, whether you have to go through the Portals of Hell or not, maybe with music the videogames are going to have to be more like Warcraft with more story and be more character-driven.

hmmmm i wonder what this can all mean? I think we have licensing deals lined up folks...If this is the case and with all the momentum of the IPO the 52 week high could be easily breached...this management team is extremely smart and aggressive...its all starting to come together on why we moved Ortsbo to California...Stay tuned popcorn.gif

can you say giddy up??? after 92 cents the asks are very thin and could run to 1$ easily

Intertainment Media: In the wake of Facebook
(Shareribs.com) The interest in Intertainment Media Inc. (TSX: A1C81A) continues to increase. Last Friday, the stock jumped up again significantly. With a volume of approximately 10 million shares traded was about 26.6 per cent up. So is this important model portfolio position more than 50 percent in profit. And that's just the beginning.

www.yahoo.com">Source: www.yahoo.com

The recently reported involvement of Intertainment Media to the Canadian start-up Shiny Ads was not the reason for the upsurge in prices, but probably the incipient hype surrounding the upcoming IPO of Facebook. The IPO documents filed by Facebook in the last week with the U.S. regulator SEC. Morgan Stanley was determined as the lead underwriter in order to collect at least $ 5 billion.

The price of a German investment company that is otherwise focused "solely" on commodity values, exploded last Friday at high volume when it was announced that the company has a $ 18 million heavy premarket Facebook shares has secured. Attention was guaranteed with this opportunistic step.

We see, however, in Intertainment Media Inc. (TSX: A1C81A) is much more direct course potential for Ortsbo has the solution to one of the biggest obstacles of Facebook - the language barrier. http://www.n-tv.de/wirtschaft/Was-Facebook-wirklich-kann-article5391191.html">An interesting read on this subject is the following n-tv article: http://www.n-tv.de/wirtschaft/Was-Facebook-wirklich-kann-article5391191.html

It is planned that up to 30 percent of the so-called pre-money valuation of a stock dividend to the Ortsbo Intertainment Media shareholders are paid. Here, so far, a minimum rating (pre-money valuation) of 210 million USD for Ortsbo is placed in the room. We do however believe that the pre-money valuation will be much higher. With more than 40 million monthly users in October and more recently signed acquisitions (Lexifone, China Green Channel International) should be an assessment of $ 400 million more realistic. Exact details of spin-off will be announced shortly.

A subsequent IPO in the U.S. could import Ortsbo loose at least $ 50 million in Q2/2012 - assuming a reasonable market environment. The Big Players Facebook should open with its planned IPO in May / June 2012 in our view, a good window of opportunity for social media IPOs.

At the end of September 2011, the number of shares of Intertainment Media Inc. was approximately 283.4 million units. In recent months the number of shares rose to 317.1 million pieces. We assume now that all warrants - were exchanged for shares - up to 9.88 million shares at 2.00 CAD. Finally, there are only Intertainment Media shares later Ortsbo shares.

The management of Intertainment Media keeps the tension high and seems to withhold the Ortsbo users publish more numbers. An estimated 400 million of our assessment of the way CAD would correspond to a Intertainment Media share price of approximately 1.26 CAD.

"Our partnership with Ortsbo and our global coverage of the red carpet and winner's press area in 53 languages definitely accomplishes this, as we strengthen the ability for our global audience to benefit from our premier entertainment business coverage."

About Ortsbo's Language Captioning System

Ortsbo's Language Captioning System allows viewers to watch video broadcasts, and also view an accompanying language real time text stream, like closed captioning found on television broadcasts, but in their personally selected choice of over 50 languages.  This game-changing proprietary system, which is part of Ortsbo's Live & Global platform, provides the ability for universal language broadcasting on a global basis, regardless of the native language of the broadcaster, potentially changing the face of ethnic, cultural, sports, entertainment, business and other forms of online, video and television live and pre-recorded broadcast programming.

Once a user reaches the event web broadcast page, the Language Captioning System will default to the user's pre-set system language.  The users can also select the language of their choice from an on-page drop down menu, with continuous live streaming updates.  The system will automatically deliver a "real time" effective stream of "closed captioning" in the user's chosen language.

Synchronica Signs Letter of Intent with Intertainment Media relating to Co-development agreement and Investment in Synchronica

ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, UK, Feb. 8, 2012 /CNW/ - Synchronica PLC (AIM: SYNC) (TSXV: SYN), ("Synchronica" or "the Company") the international provider of next-generation mobile messaging services announces that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Intertainment Media Inc. ("Intertainment Media") (TSX Venture: INT / OTCQX: ITMFT / FRA: IT4), a Toronto-based technology incubator and developer of Rich Media Applications, including the global leading real time experiential language platform, Ortsbo.com.

Synchronica and Intertainment Media intend to integrate Synchronica's flagship messaging platform, Mobile Gateway, with Intertainment Media's Ortsbo experiential language technology. This will enable Mobile Gateway to provide its users with seamless and real-time translation between more than 50 languages potentially across Synchronica's growing client base of over 100 mobile operators and device manufacturers around the world

In addition, Synchronica will enter a joint venture agreement with Intertainment Media and its subsidiary Ortsbo Inc., in which the parties will license their respective Intellectual Properties to a new subsidiary. The subsidiary, which will be jointly-owned by both parties, will allow Synchronica and Intertainment Media to further develop each other's products, share R&D efforts, enlarge each other's business development activities and drive revenue and profitability for both companies from new projects.

It is envisaged that Synchronica will demonstrate the Ortsbo technology, fully integrated with Mobile Gateway, in time for Mobile World Congress 2012 in late February (www.mobileworldcongress.com). In late 2011, with a view to aligning its costs to its recurring revenue billings, Synchronica informed shareholders that it was implementing several cost reduction initiatives across the entire business. The Board of Directors also committed to manage its cash carefully, while also seeking further funding opportunities which would accelerate the business and drive shareholder value.

This joint venture agreement will represent the first step in this commitment, with Intertainment Media making a strategic investment into Synchronica. As part of the transaction, Intertainment Media will, subject to Synchronica shareholder approval, invest up to CDN $10 million in Synchronica, at a minimum price of GBP 0.16 per unit. Each unit will comprise one ordinary Synchronica share, plus one ordinary share warrant, exercisable at CDN $0.40 per share, at any time within two years of issue.

The transaction is subject to the completion of satisfactory due diligence, the execution of legally-binding agreements, as well as necessary board and regulatory approvals.

Synchronica will shortly seek shareholder and necessary approvals for Intertainment Media's first investment of CDN $1 million. These additional funds will be used for additional working capital and to integrate the Ortsbo language technology with Synchronica Mobile Gateway. Subject to shareholder and necessary approvals, Intertainment Media will make a further investment in March 2012, of between a minimum of CDN $1 million and a maximum of CDN $5 million.

"Synchronica Mobile Gateway has strong sector revenue and is already used by more than 100 of the world's most successful mobile operators and device manufacturers," says David Lucatch, CEO of Intertainment Media and Ortsbo. "Several of Synchronica's customers have multinational properties, and by providing on-the-fly translation with Ortsbo, they add even greater value to their service offerings and sector leadership. Intertainment Media is all about investing, nurturing and developing leading edge technologies, digital and social media platforms. Synchronica ticks all of these boxes, and we're excited about the prospects of our cooperation and a strong future together."

"This is a new and exciting partnership for Synchronica," adds Synchronica's CEO, Angus Dent. "It will allow us to immediately enrich Mobile Gateway with real-time conversational translation services, which will really appeal to our new and existing customers.  Ortsbo complements Synchronica Mobile Gateway, and together we're able to provide a unique possibility for our customers to position themselves as the hub for social interaction, regardless of geographical or language limitations.  Intertainment Media owns and operates several key technologies, and we believe this co-development agreement and investment will create significant value for Synchronica shareholders."
