Why is that shark fin going after my umbrella again? Great advice on the need to investigate/invest in companies you know are successful firsthand. No need to buy Nokia on the "dip" because you think it'll bounce back and then call your friends on your i-Phone to brag about how smart you are
. Full disclosure, I did buy some Nokia right before their launch but sold it the day after the launch when I heard they had some data issues, lost about 15% but it could have been a lot worse if I wanted to ride it out. There is a point there too, as most people will feel trapped into these things after they fall with the thought process that well hell I already lost some money, i might as well ride it out now. Not sound thinking, cut your loses like I did, and then I took that money and invested that particular amount into QQQ. End result is that I broke even in that trade pending tomorrow and this week's version of Mr Toad's Wild Ride, whereas if I would have stayed in NOK, I would have lost a whole helluva lot more money. Good trading.
