Yo Semper, did you put $5000 on 1 stock, stay for a day or 2, get your profits and leave?

Yeah I put it all on the table. I know it's not the smartest technique, but it's the quickest way to pull a quick profit. I also make sure I pick stocks that should have a catalyst to go up and I wouldn't mind holding for a few weeks if i had to. The one thing about putting it all in one stock is you only need .20 -.30 to make a quick profit. The downside is you could be out of the game for a few weeks if things turn south on you, which they have before. Again they were companies I felt confident would come back though.

Just bought 375 shares of CYS for $13.95 a share. Just announced their .60 dividend yesterday after the bell, so hopefully this will give it some fuel for next week.

Wow, you sure are ballsy.

Go big or go home I guess. One thing I've learned: It takes money to make money.

Sold CYS at $14.14 for a $60 profit. Was hoping for more but the MM's wouldn't let this run IMO. Oh well, I'm eyeing TZA now.

Just bought 180 shares of TZA for $29.50. We got to bleed sometime. Hopefully soon.

Currently up $70 on TZA. I guess I'm going to hold it over night. I hope greed don't come back to bite me.

On second thought I sold TZA AH @ $30.01 for a $78 profit. I've learned my lesson about being greedy. Profit is profit. Seems we're due for a pullback, but no telling what this market will throw at you next.

Rather than Profit is Profit you can think of it as I Grew or had Growth today. Ok there has to be a better way to say that but I think you get the jist.

Slow and Steady. Everyone talks of Buffet but he just consistantly makes money, he wasnt a get Rich quick idea.

Just picked up 300 shares of TZA for $29.15 pre market this morning. Futures are off the highs and TZA closed at $29.98 yesterday. I just don't see it opening that low. I'm hoping to dump it at the bell for a quick .30 - .40 flip. I must say I'm a little nervous, this is the first time I've used margain.

2nded. You are seeing 10% gains per month so far. At this rate, you will have a return of 120% at the end of the year. That is great, especially considering that you have not used leveraged positions with margin or options. However, imo your account is risky enough considering you throw all of your capital into each trade. I'll be watching, whatever happens lol.

Thanks for the support guys. Sold at $29.35 for a .20 gain. Should have held out a little longer, but first time using margain I wanted to get rid of it quick. I've learned TZA always over compensates at the bell and goes up a little regardless. Just wanted to take my profit and run.

To be totally honest with you, I haven't a clue. It would seem we are due for a pullback, but this market just keeps moving up. There's no sell off and we just keep bouncing off the ceiling. It's seems every month we have to come up with a new game plan. I don't expect any great news next week, but lately the market hasn't really cared if we have bad numbers. So I don't know. If we have a break one way or the other all we'll do is establish new support and resistance levels to bounce around in IMO. Right now my plan is to hopefully exit AXAS on Monday with some profit and then wait on the market. If we continue this sideways chop I'll be eyeing TZA for some daytrading and looking at some dividend stocks to flip. What about you? What are you thinking?
