remember when all the republicans were cheering on TV like BUSH himself flew that plane on to that carrier....lol......fox news = shit + piss grinded together.
You sir need to stop being a complete and utter hypocrite! All you do is call people names.
fight fire with fire...
I will CONTINUE to point out the fact that all he can do is call people names..and I will return the favor to him!
BUT, do you deny that I post FACTUALLY based arguments that DO NOT have any sort of name calling in them?
To those who pay respect to my argument, I repay the respect whether I agree with them or not....when someone like BX doesn't address the argument and simply resorts to name calling.....like i said..fight fire with fire...he deserves no respect from me and he gets none...he is a loser..plain and simple
Did The Banner Come From? In the Battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.
—President Bush in his speech under the banner
As criticism mounted the White House who had in the Lincoln speech and other press releases implied that the war was over, backpedaled stating that they didn't mean to imply that the Iraq War was over and that the Navy had in fact put the banner up for a totally different reason. As Navy Commander and Pentagon spokesman Conrad Chun put it, the banner referred specifically to the aircraft carrier's 10-month deployment (which was the longest deployment of a carrier since the Vietnam War) and not the war itself "It truly did signify a mission accomplished for the crew."
The White House claimed that the banner was requested by the crew of the ship. Afterwards, the administration and naval sources stated that the banner was the Navy's idea, White House staff members made the banner, and it was hung by U.S. Navy personnel. White House spokesman Scott McClellan told CNN "We took care of the production of it. We have people to do those things. But the Navy actually put it up." The White House when further pressed by TIME magazine was forced to admit that they made made the banner and hung it up but still clung to the line that it had been done at the request of the crew members. ↓ Article continues below ↓

your facts = rabbit gettings pulled out of a hat.....fake
Does being American mean sitting behind a computer posting your propaganda all day long qualify you to be an American? Seriously do you ever leave that chair? Look at the poltics/religion thread. You are all over it all day long!
Do you even see from your own eyes whats going on in the world?
But he did land on the carrier in a fighter like a TOOL.
I'm no fan of W, but I gotta give him props for doing a tailhook landing on a carrier...doesn't make him a tool IMO. I spent most of my time in the Navy repairing the final approach radar on a carrier and I can tell you a tailhook landing is a violent, frightful thing...Miss that little cable or it breaks and you only have a few hundred feet to get that warplane airborne again.
hell yeah...you must hate being American! poor guy...I hear France has the best health care in the world...and they're fairly neutral...you might want to think about moving there instead and become a French citizen so that you don't have to live with the guilt that you seem to associate with being "American"
Out of curiosity, have you served in the military?

I just hope you know he didn't land the plane himself.

I know he was in the co-pilots seat, a very accomplished Navy pilot was at the controls during landing. I still give him props for a tail hook landing. They come in at just barely above stall speed, and have to catch 1 of 4 steel cables stretched across the flight deck while giving full thrust and afterburners so they have a chance of getting airborne again if they miss or the cable breaks.
All this while trying to hit the flight deck of a ship that is moving in 3 axis, it isn't an amusement park ride...every landing is literally life or death. Usually everything goes fine, I have seen things go tragically wrong. There are a lot of moving parts from the radar, to the air traffic controller, to the radios, to the Landing Services Officer, to all the various systems on the plane, to the weather, the ocean and the systems on the ship. It is intense.
August 19, 2010 "Lew Rockwell" -- In a good example of D.C.-style math, King Obama has announced that he is pulling all combat troops out of Iraq, but 50,000 will remain there. Of course, all troops are trained for combat; calling them “non-combat support personnel” is simply B.S.King Obama wants to campaign for Democrats in the fall by lying about ending combat in Iraq.
More absurdly, the Fox News Channel interviewed an army officer this morning by first congratulating him and his fellow soldiers for “making Iraq a safe and secure place.” Before he said this, the network announced that they could not reveal the location of the interviewer “for security reasons.” The interview took place at a location where they were completely surrounded by ten foot high piles of sandbags. This is how D.C. spells “secure.”
Check your calculator Rita. It's off about 100% and counting. BO spent 3 Trillion? Think again. And please don't quote some blog spot or Fox News.
Spending 1 trillion, plus thousands of dead Americans is OK, but we cannot spend the money on ourselves? Get back to me when you've actually been in combat.
