But i think its like wolf said.
it could be a different cam view.
But im mad. I like doing screen caps from events like this
do a lot allways 100 % and that is the first time that 9 from 10 of my caps are black.
They using windows media player. mhh !!
Now the 'thing' is back on cam.
Its boring, but cant stop watching this.

This is a very difficult problem, it isn't as easy as plugging it up as people think. The pressures you deal with are tremendous, this well is deep. You pump in heavy 'mud' to balance/overbalance the hydrostatic pressure, if you don't you can't stop it. The pressures can be in excess of 10,000-15,000psi if suddenly capped, the BOP which was damaged is able to control/handle that, but putting something around what you see in the video is a lot more difficult. Just trying to put a plug on this would be like you putting your thumb over a pin hole on a pressure vessel primed to ~1,000psi and thinking that would stop it... More then likely it would just cut through your finger or bleed out the sides or both. If you over pressure it when killing the flow you risk fracturing the formation which could potentially send leaks to other places. There is a science to this that is very technical. It may appear that BP is being casual about this but they are not.

it looks like they're using WME to stream that video. There's a trick to getting screenshots from wme/wmp... There's a simple setting you turn off in display propeties and your screen shots will work every time. I forgot which setting.. Hardware acceleration?

It was bugging me so I had to look it up.. it is hardwarware accel / overlay, and there are actually several ways around the problem

Thanks for the link, but i also found out that if i use IExplorer and my first screen i can do caps. Have three screens and usually use Mozilla.
But that is only for this side, all others work fine.

I dont know what you people think, but im scared and fascinated.
5000 feets under the sea level are few leaks and they spil oil with high presure into the sea. For 6 weeks.. ?
And the saga continues.
Using chemicals is not the solution.

The guy is quiet, i think i would freak out if i would be there. All is full of oil ?
Nightmare. All the mil gallons have to be cleaned. Again, with chemicals ?
Knowing that, would you like to eat a oyster from there.
Compairing to this a Exxon Valdez would be a gift.

From BP thread
