What if's do not count. We can only go by what has happend in the past. So the question begs how many middle age white men have flown planes into skyscapers?

Pathetic? Really? That's the first time I've been called that on these forums. Good insult. I hate insulting people, but you are one of the dumbest posters I've ever had to respond to.
I have never given my view on profiling kids or the elderly. What are you drawing your conclusions from?
Here's the problem with profiling Muslims: there is no viable way to do it. I do agree that they need to profiled, because honestly, the Muslim extremists have been the cause of the majority of terrorist attacks. But how should you profile a Muslim? By the way they look? What does a Muslim look like? It is impossible to distinguish all Muslims from all non-Muslims.
With that said, I'm still correct in saying that (and I'll bold it for you)
terrorism is not limited to hijacking planes. Asking how many white men have flown planes into skyscrapers IS IRRELEVANT. People of many races have tried to sneak explosive devices onto air planes. I hate to fixate on race, but just to get a point across,
a mixed man single-handedly changed the way we look at shoes on airplanes. How do we profile someone like him? He was half white and half black. Should we profile the black in him since middle aged white men aren't a threat? Or would you prefer to have him board a plane without being profiled because he isn't from the middle east?

Well, what happens when a Dutch (presumably white) man sneaks a 'liquid bomb' onto a plane? Should we take our chances and forget about the what-ifs?
