APC - Anadarko Petroleum Corp

I have taken a beating on this one over the last few weeks, averaged down some as the stock was sinking. it seems to have been (overly) beaten up alot over this oil spill,as they had something like a 25 percent stake in the BP Horizon oil rig. I hope the new "top hat" fix is in place soon, it should spike this one back up to the low sixties if it works!

It seems to have good support at 56.50
we need some good new from the Gulf.

I just noticed this one- looks like a good swing play to me- beat down bad with lots of upside potential...

+3.3% @$58.80; I need alot more action like this to get back to even. still has a ton of upside potential.

Bought a few lots of these bad boys at 56.50 then sold May 60 calls for 1.17- hope it dont get exercised, I'd like to hold these jewels...

Might get exercised afterall if this rate holds.. Wanted to hold but I'll take the small gain...

Bought my calls back with a 50% profit..

Anyone know why APC got especially clobbered today? Thinking dipping my toes in here for a swing long.

Shares of oil exploration and production company Anadarko Petroleum Corp., which has a 25 percent non-operating interest in the rig that exploded, fell $8.58, or 16.4 percent, to $44.75. Halliburton, which provided a variety of services including cementing on the rig, lost $3.16, or 12.7 percent, at $21.67. Shares of rig owner Transocean fell $5.44, or 9.6 percent, to $51.33. Cameron International Corp., maker of a fail-safe device on the well intended to prevent spills, dropped $3.38, or 9.3 percent, to $32.82.

Good thing I went long on Friday. I had too much money in my account and I had to find a person who, apparently, needed it more than I did.

uughhhhhh what a day. Wiped out all my gains and then some on my PAPERTRADING acct lol. Right when you think Oil has reached its low, they literally dig deeper.

This stock was +8% before 1pm EST when Dr J brought this up on halftime report then it went downhill and closed -18%. 40 put lod was 95c and went to 6.70

one of the best options trades I've seen during intraday session

or how about the GS one from .01 to over 12.00 on expiration day

ADC put would've topped GS put if it was expiration day today, consider it was a 26% moving range for a mid cap sized stock

Bear Flag on the hourly...perhaps an afternoon breakdown is in store.
