interesting little co based in st.johns nfld.

sproule reports of 3.8bln boe resource on their 1.6mm acres of offshore acreage in western nfld

with activities picking up in parsons pond (lead by nalcor) you could see some action here

one to watch over the next 6-12 months

will post more later

big risk, big reward trade - not for the faint of heart

*Bump..

Only if Nwest actually does something with their huge holdings.

One find by either Vulcan and JV or CQV-V will have Nwest rocketing.

Other than a reverse split recently, management has done jack all that I know of.

Just bought a little slice.
Been eying this one for a while. I think we're going to see some nice action in 2011.

What's going on here? Large upward movement on tiny volume? Is something going on with one of the neighboring oil companies?

Possible upcoming financing?

Not entirely unexpected after a consolidation of shares.

Looks like somethings finally going on here. NWest has traded it's drilling exploration permits for money, and warrants in shoal point energy, a pink sheets stock that it currently drilling a shallow horizontal well nearby to see if they can flow oil. We'll know in late March or early April.. If they flow oil, this could fly. If gas or nothing... it's going to the bottom. High risk high reward play. Any veterans have thoughts on this? It's a deep and very porous shale field, likely has a lot of gas, but is thought to contain as much 5-15 billion barrels of oil.
