Im not going to stand in front of the train here, but I am watching for resistance in the $19 area.

interested to see tomorrow's open/action. The bearish evening doji star on Friday's close could spell trouble with a capital T for the housing industry.

(Can't believe I just typed 'evening doji star'. I feel like I should be trying to capture a pokemon with these ridiculous candlestick names sometimes)

Interesting action here in the past few sessions, was this a head fake to the upside?

looking the get short XHB this up coming week.  Up nearly 67% from October lows.  When the market pulls back, this should be a good one the short.  The April 12 17 strike volume is 30,000 and 19 strike is over 15,000.

your welcome.

ive also been watching it as a short opp when it was playing around the $20 level.  id like to buy it as an investment as well.  Im hoping to get in at 17 but i dont think it wil get there..  i think its a solid long.

US housing has bottomed imo, when it starts to pick up these companies are the best positioned to take advantage.

it seems that xhb wants to test the highs.  I'm looking to short when it makes another top and my first area of support is around 18 and then 17.  17 isn't really impossible since its october lows where $12.

Housing numbers coming in today.  very interested in seeing some good ones.

were sitting below resistance that goes back to 08.  if we can get past the 22-22.50 level then it would be a great buy signal.  I dont expect anything too exciting yet though.  Im looking for 2013 as the breakout year.

I got in at 19.60 area in early march as part of my longs.

strange day in this one...closed up a bit itself but only 1 of 11 homebuilders on my screen ended up...one flat and 9 down ... suspicious.gif

were gonna need consistent results if we can break above further.

Is the 1st home buyer incentive active again?  They need to bring back that or other things to motivate ppl to buy homes.

looking for a dip back down to 20 for a swing trade.  if it hits $19 again ill add more to longs and buy calls.

Paulson is a buyer.

yes sir.  At least through the better part of 2013 depending on how things go.

much needed breather today down 1.8%.  I bought some calls on the dip, thinking it'll bounce back up as the s&p makes new highs.

This thing is going parabolic on me here. up over 20% now.
