You are good. If the other pick was a valid pick then you couldn't change it after the start of the contest. I, along with a few others have done that on accident in the past.

We don't normally pick three (one just-in-case). If it may not make the $5 price and you don't want to risk it then you should pick something else. In this case, DROOY was only a few cents off so you get it with a $5 open due to past practice.
