It can't open if a trade doesn't go through. Here is a monthly chart for GOBA, which shows what the month opened at.

Well i'm not really sure why you even care about my pick since i'm not really in this month because my first pick opened too high. But hey, since you went through the trouble of a screenshot with a cool little circle around 1.01, i'll counter with a quick quote from the rules on page one.

I guess there is a " unwritten " rule ( big board too ) that you can close your pick whenever you want !
I will put it in the rules next month.

It's what we've been doing for however long now. You can copy that part from the other contests to make it easy for you, big boards states how to close (before/during/after market).
