Post your pics on this thread AFTER the closing bell on FRIDAY, January 15, 2010.

If you discuss your pics before this time, they will not count unless you officially post them as mentioned above!

Obviously, the quicker you are after the bell, the better chance you have of your picks being accepted. The time and date on your post will be taken into consideration.

Picks will only be accepted for 48 hours and no more entries will be accepted after Sunday, January 17th, 2010 at 1 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time).

In general, this contest is similar to the monthly, however, the following apply:

1. You have to select three pics that are either two long/one short or two short/one long.

2. You are only allowed 1 leveraged ETF.

2. Positions cannot be closed until midway through the contest - February 27th, 2010. After this date, you can close your positions at any time before the contest ends.

This contest starts at the opening bell on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

Since the contest begins following options expiration, it will end three months later on options expiration - at the closing bell on April 16, 2010.

When you make your picks, please make sure there are empty spaces around them, so they come up in the thread search.

Correct: AAPL - Long (Blank space after AAPL)
Incorrect: AAPL- Long (No space after AAPL)

-You cannot duplicate someone's exact play (any of them), use the "Search This Thread" link, which is located in the top right, right above the top most post. It takes 10 seconds to see if the ticker has been mentioned.

-Get your picks in as described above. Within the first week you must quote the post with your picks and then enter in the first day's opening price. This saves me from looking up the opening price for everyone's picks and saves me a couple hours of work.

-The stock/ETF must open at $5 minimum, and no pinks/OTCBB.

-Once you pick something, that's it, it's yours unless it's not a valid pick. This way someone doesn't pick a stock that others want, then at the last second change it. Please don't edit your posts with your picks. If you pick one at a time, just use two separate posts instead of editing your first.

Once again, it is your responsibility to check that your pick isn't a duplicate. The "Search This Thread" link I mentioned makes this as simple as it can be. If you choose to not check and should you duplicate someone's pick, it will not only not count, but you will be ridiculed and laughed at as well.

Don't forget to post your opening prices. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and if anyone sees someone else messing up, please correct them and make my job a lot easier. Also, make sure the numbers for your pics are correct on the posted spreadsheets. There are errors at times and I need your help to make sure they are as accurate as possible.
