very nice! 1/4 div payout end of month, I would expect some retraction then
but for now it should hold steady

Is anyone else in this thing? This is the best buy I've made in some time.

I think WIN is a good stock to buy if the stock opens higher the next trading day with a stop loss about 2%. The stock is near the support line now.
WIN lost -0.53% on 01/14/11 and a total percentage of -2.09% in the past 2 day
WIN is trading in the range of $12.94 - $14.40 in the past 30 days.
Commodity Channel Index (CCI) is bullish for WIN.
Money Flow Index (MFI) is bearish and moving down for WIN.
The 10-day simple moving average is bearish and moving down for WIN.
Average volume decrease over 5% for WIN.

Bought some WIN May 21 2011 14.0 Call's today
post #31 of 38

I bought into this at 12.48 in after hours tonight. The stock is down almost 10% from about 2 weeks ago,its near the lower BB,and its very close to the 200 EMA. While the chart looks "ok", it pays a .25 divy, and Cramer had the CEO on tonight pumping it. The last 3 stocks that I saw him pump were up significaltly the next few days. If markets tank tomorrow I will be out though.

i was thinking about picking this up too. been watching the past few days hovering around 12.40-12.50. but i get nervous with all the sell offs and drops lately. but i really need to get gains.

It was a good day today for WIN........up 3% on better than 1.5 times the normal volume and MACD has crossed to the bullish side. Not sure if this is the "Cramer" effect or what, but,I will take it. Stop set just above a break even point. Let's see what happens.

Did you buy Blowry 1911?

No. i didnt, i was hoping to get some feedback on here first. and i was worried about the "cramer effect" too. he’s a mega pumper, although a lot of his recommendations do decent in in the semi long run because they are usually sold good earnings or at least very speculative companies. but i was worried it would have extra spike because of him. not sure yet if it was a good move or not...lol. it is still near its 3 month low

Out  at 12.70 with a 2`% gain.

This one just popped up on my watch list as a result of a periodic combing through many many stock charts in a search for new companies to follow.  I really like the setup here, it closed at 13.22, and 13.26-13.27 is a swing high from February that if broken could trigger a nice run.  Also they just announced a 25 cent quarterly dividend which works out to a sweet yield (7.5% ish).  They just announced earnings that look pretty horrid, due to debt-related charges, and they are cash-poor, so the divvy doesn't make much intuitive sense.  I would not buy this before doing more DD on their cash and debt situation, but from a chart and dividend perspective it looks good.  They took a .50 hit in AH due to earnings.  In any event, this one looks to be a good play at some point in the coming months barring any scary skeletons in the DD closet.

One other weird thing, a few other charting services I have disagree with finviz's price history for WIN... strange.

what do you guys think about this compared to FTR

The dividend amount is 25 cents per share, which is 10.56% dividend yield. The Ex-Dividend date is June 27, 2012, Record date is June 29, 2012, and the dividend payout date is July 16, 2012. The stock has fallen 19.34% year to date.
