Earnings will be out on the 13th, so you should make your decision either way before then.

I picked up more this morning just after open at 1.35. And I plan to pick up more as more funds become available tomorrow morning. The earnings report should be better than expected.

I also added more today. I'm only putting 2K in it.

I have 4600 shares right now, but would like to go with 6K shares. I'm tempted to go with more, but then I'll be a bit top heavy in the portfolio. Too many eggs to break at once!

I should do more, but I always chicken out. I might up it.

I know. It seems like a pretty sure thing, but nothing is ever for sure. But then, that's why a stop loss should always be used.

I would really love to see it jump a dollar. That would be a nice take for the day.

I'm trying to remember from my college days, if the tax credit will reflect in the direct earnings for the quarter, and I cannot recall for sure. I think it does, but I'm not 100% sure. If not, I think earnings will be around .02 to .03 per share.

I'm pretty sure it will be. I've taken a few tax classes in law school. I think it is dependent on a number of factors. But if you listen to the CC (obviously I encourage every JOEZ investor to do this as I keep harping on it), the guys break out in laughter at one point at just how significant this could be for their earnings this quarter. And the woman asking the question was just wowed. The co. then says (jokes?, exaggerates?, ???) that this could cause them to see earnings of .30 a share. I'm really still somewhat lost at this point as to what exactly will happen. But listen to the CC and pay close attention once it gets to around the middle of the call. And then tell me what you think for yourself. It's an odd call, but you can clearly tell the co. thinks their earnings will be significantly greater than last quarter, to the point where they are chuckling at how much of a sure-shot it will be.

I use the Yahoo site for earnings shedules. Can someone tell me if this is not always reliable? http://biz.yahoo.com/research/earncal/20100104.html

Joez doesn't show up at all. I've seen mention in different places that the earnings are due 01/13, and 01/19. On their website, I see an event scheduled for 01/13. http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix....=irol-calendar

I saw on another financial site (sorry, forget which one now), JOEZ earnings expectation was .01. As Red says, they're going to blow that away. I listened to the conference call also, and agree with what Red said. The tax kicker will be counted, and it will be very good earnings reported.

If things are looking that good, why did some insider sell at the end of November? Not knocking this stock at all, just trying to understand.

(don't flame this noob too hard)

My guess would be that they were just selling at the top of the price range for profit, and planning to buy back in on the dip.

You're welcome. Of course, that was just one possible scenario.

Seems like if I remember correctly that insiders can trade 30 days before an "event". It just seems strange to me that several sold 30 days before year end. With that said, it'll probably jump 40% in the next few days.

I've holding out for the 1.35 too, but just might have to bump that up.
