this seems like it'll be a good buy and hold for awhile what does everyone think? Doing some research on this company and it seems like they're not going anywhere for awhile.

Yeah, with this going up to fast, it'd due for some pullback....the question is...when?

this stock is moving huh? Any news as to why? I know they just got a deal the other day but it wasn't suppose to be effected till the end of the 4th quarter.

Just got out with a 14 dollar loss...I think it lost steam. Oh well...

In fact, if you have the guts...it might be time for that short. However, I'm not doing it.

why did you get out? Where you expecting a better opening then what it was at?

It went all the way down to 11.80s and then I managed to sell at 12.26.....quickly after that, it kept dropping.

Now back up to where I could have profited. FML.

oh ok . Another decent day for this company many i wish i would of gotten in this company on opening monday morning. What do ya'll think this company is going to do for the rest of this week. I'm trying to figure out if this company is going keep on trucking like this.

I think it would be a huge risk to jump in now. There might be more upside, but in my opinion the risk/reward isn't worth it. Most stocks that run up like this will have a cooling off period and correct themselves. So, if you are looking for a long term investment in this particular company, I would say hold off.

I know nothing....

I'll probably buy back in when I have freed funds. I got me some PIR after selling this today which went up higher than this. Oh well....

Nanometrics, Inc. (NASDAQ: NANO) filed with the SEC a registration to sell at various times in one or more offerings of up to 6,200,000 shares of our common stock. Of these shares, 1,200,000 are being offered by the selling stockholder named in this prospectus and 5,000,000 are being offered by Nanometrics.

Nanometrics will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholder.


What does this mean for the stock?

They are raising cash.....some diluation though. I bought some on the drop and will sell some today if not all today. It actually looks like it's going up.

I tossed in 2600 only. Down 4%...ehhh...

Sold everything yesterday for a small gain at 11.74.......

Popped today toHOD so far of 13.56 with incredible volume.

Amazing run, new highs yesterday, but the chart is a bit parabolic, so watch for the retracement.

Bumping this for consideration.

This seems to have broken major support areas. Seems like its dropping heavily. I'd be watching for another reversal for a quick 10%+ gain. Shorting it at this point is not a bad idea though with that chart.
