Nope, imo DDSS is a much safer play, and not gambling, unless you hold thru Feb 11... Basically, people think that DDSS is almost certain to get approval now that they fixed the problems with that manufacturing plant, and so it will run into the Feb 11 decision. Of course I would never hold through the decision, but imo there will be a runup into it.

The fact that Michael J. Fox supports this company makes me want to dump all of my shares right now and sell this company short. He's such a putz!

The fact that USMC does not support this company and thinks people are going to get burned though makes me want to buy more shares.

I think it's a good company, but my money is on a FDA denial. They'll ask for another trial. You really need to stop putting words in peoples' mouths.

Yeah, I think this will be a huge buy if they get an FDA denial, and the price gaps down to ~40-50cents...

I agree on DDSS even though I have no position. I may get in it; however, the drug is only an old reformulated antidepressant- Trazodone. That drug has been around since something like the 1950 or 1960's. It's a very old, antiquated drug.

When I buy or trade a stock, the first thing I will look into is VOLUME.

I notice that most of Tommy's picks lately have very low volume.
For example, this one (ACAD):
Avg volume is 830K <== personally I do not like to trade anything with avg volume less than 1 million.
Today's volume is 277K (about 30% of avg volume which means noone is interested in this stock)
When TG picks, the volume + price are spiking a little (5% ?), it means that he gets quite a few NOOBs (from his email's list?) jump in.
After a few days, the PPS is going down and those NOOBs got hung or held bags. Only a few "smart ones" that can catch TG's grip and make some ... )
And the NOOBs are left with some hard lesson to learn in stock market !!!

Plus I stated long long ago that I look for daily volume under 2 million, that way when news hits and it pops, the shareholder get more bang for their buck.

Been my mission statement since day one and it worked, look at my first pick of ANSV at .07 cents a share, (page one of my TOMMYGUN thread) not much volume, 150,000 to 200,000 tops.

News came about two weeks after my pick that the drug was approved and it went from .07 cents to $1.49 two days after the news.

The people on my list like stocks under $1.00, not many are in this one, I gave them the heads up that news was coming soon on Phase III.

I'm holing 7,000 shares now, but with my prior STOCK PICKS of ANSV @ .07 cents, KERX @ .18 cents, NVD at .08 cents, and CVM @ .50 cents, I think I know my pharmas, I feel very good about this one.

Do your own DD and decide on your own, but I for one see promise here.

For one the trial was TWO YEARS, that means they continued to administer the medicine for TWO YEARS!

They must of liked what they were seeing and I do too, that is why I own 7,000 shares of ACAD.

I am not sure, but the trial supposedly ended sometime this month, so it should be very soon.

I'm seeing on the yahoo boards that this one dropped to $1.20 in after hour trading but i'm not seeing it anywhere else.

I looked on BigCharts and no after hours trading, I looked at Think or Swim, same thing.

Where are they seeing this AH stuff?

Yeah someone sold 15,000 shares after hours and dropped the price, think it will go back up, so if you are lucky enough to get in at $1.20 or lower, you may want to do it.

I was trying to get in at 1.31$ all day didn't happen. Will try it again tomorrow
