Why Trade Pinks

Thread Starter
When I go to the penny stock section, the overwelming percentage of the picks people have made, are down a lot. Very very rarely have I seen any of these picks go up. Are people simply throwing their money into the lottery with these picks? Based on what I've seen, it sure seems like it's the case.

I agree with you on your permise and not a big fan of pinks.

But your statement

Couldn't that statement also be used in general to the stocks of the main exchanges as well? Isn't every stock down on average atleast 50% since middle of last year?

That's true right now in a very unusual market circumstance. But aside from the current "recession", under normal circumstances that would not be true.

But pinkies in general, under almost any circumstance besides any current pump-n-dump process, tend to lower down over time. Until the next P-n-D.

they're basically the wild west of the stock market. They are so poorly regulated that I'll never touch them. I used to work for people that managed a few pink sheet companies....wow....the corruption....

I've heard a number of people say how hard they thought penny stocks were to trade, I see it as the opposite. They are much more predictable and therefore easier to trade, imo of course. I would probably never trade anything else if they were more scalable.
