I think were fine.

I'm bothered by the BDI numbers as well as the lack of improvement over at DSX, but I'm becoming cautiously optimistic.

For sure something is going on with TNK though (my oil shipping dividend play).

My oil play is PVX

Effin love it, Pay out a dividend every single month. Infact, they just recently just got changed to a strictly dividened corp.

Jojo,
Take a look at the BDI chart on Dryships site. Notice how the Cape index has dropped below both the Panamax index and the Supramax index. Now go back and look at what has happened every other time the Cape index dropped equal to or below the smaller ships' indexes. The Cape index simply cannot remain this low for very long. It has swung too low and I think it will react by swinging too far in the opposite direction. The upswing is coming very soon.

The Cape index has also been putting in lower highs and lower lows since the summer of '09. I'd like to see a breakout of that pattern.

That's the beauty of the BDI. There's absolutely no balance it in. To the moon or through the floor is all you get these days.

I bought some GNK a few days ago. Hard not to get in around 14 on this.

Ya skwerl, Thats whats in my head, there a company that knows best on what to do, Eventually there gonna say "this is enough" and thats when prices will sky rocket.
That said, I could have gotten out last week with only a $150 loss on my current holdings.
Wish I could say that, Im 3000$ loss so far.

Im probably gonna hold til this whole BDI cheap stuff go to new highs again =)

If your looking short term at the 5 day chart it seems to be in a perfect downtrend. If your looking long term at the 1 year chart it's also in a pretty clear downtrend. I might just have to let this one go.
