Just did final update, Now it has instructions on how to add more lines so you can add more trades. Just click where u enter the date into the 38th row then on 2003 and up go to the main tab and choose insert row

I am not sure on the older version how to insert row. But that's what you need to do with the cell where you put the date on the 38th row highlighted.

I don't know why you cant just right click it but wont work that way

this happens after download and opening of file in Excel 2003. At beginning of open file it says it want to link to outside sources so to that say ok. then returns message "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated." So click continue to get to worksheet. Then when click on New Row on about v3 it returns the message about TOS Challenge.xls could not be found.

Just fixed all the issues with my excel sheet. Seems its hard when going to another person pc. But think I got all the glitches hammered out now

Here is a screenshot

All info is auto calculated. Just enter starting portfolio, your fees and your wanted stop and gain

ALSO TO USE THE ADD NEW TRADE YOU MUST TURN MACROS ON (THE GAY WARNING ABOVE THE SHEET) . i DONT KNOW WHY MACROS ARE BAD BUT THE ONLY ONE I INCLUDED IS TO ADD THE NEW ROW. FULLY SAFE IMO.

here is the link, let me know if it doesn't work for you

Ok now for those who wanted teh version that auto pulls stock data from the web. It took me a long time to find a free add-in to do this and took me even longer to understand how to use the add-in. Some of tha pages i will post for download are mine created with the add-in and some are a few I found but i kinda reorganized and made look prettier. I am posting how I made it work. The sheets i post that use this will be locked. There is formulas involved that cannot be changed. Most often only the ticker will be able to be changed. I didn't not invent the add-in so only know so much but have a fairly good grasp. It is an impressive add-in it just takes an immense amount of time to get it all to work right in the sheet and make it user friendly. You have to allow macros in excel when you use it. You will get a warning but its just windows being gay about your pc pulling the data. It is not a virus etc. IT has been scanned by me but again use at your own risk. I have been suing it for a month now with no issues. In fact i find it really handy.

First you must download these files.

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=0...e8dd9652ef10e3

download all files to a folder named: SMF Add-in (make sure u make a new folder with this name and place all files in it)

then move or copy that folder to your c drive and in the folder "program files"

Once that is done go into excel

then in upper left corner click the windows logo (the new windows theme in excel 2007)
then go to excel options

choose add-ins then choose go

then make sure stock market functions is selected and press ok

load this file

http://www.mediafire.com/file/vkn2dnzjnut/Historical Quotes.xls

When loaded you may not get anything if so you may see above the sheet where it says macro has been disabled, please click this and allow it.

You should then be able to type a ticker and get historical quotes. If you have issues let me know and i will do what i can. First thing to do is reread this to see if you put files in correct folder.

in the end it should look like this and puul quotes automatically

i have many more to add but first get the add-in to work correctly
