Just look at what wisconsinstock1 is going on about, all the radical muslim stuff, unfortunately many people actually believe this and will take a long time to get their trust back in the newly elected president.
That's what I hate about our (practically) two party system. it brings out the hatred in a lot of us. Certainly we are not nearly as violent as many other country's elections, but damn it can sure get ugly. I really like the slogan "Divided We Fail"...

What sucks is that Sarah Palin is out of the picture now. I would have sooo tapped that. Not that she's the hottest thing on two legs, but there was just something about her...

Well...he's just saying things like:

Quote:
My friend's we have come to the end of a long journey. The American people have spoken and they have spoken clearly. A little while ago I had the honor of calling Senator Barack Obama to congratulate him *puts hands up to quell booing crowd* on being elected the next President of the country that we both love.
Quote:
...his success alone commands my respect for his ability and perseverance. But that he managed to do so by inspiring hopes of so many millions of Americans
Quote:
Let there be no reason now, for any American to fail to cherish their American citizenship in this, the greatest nation on Earth. Senator Obama has acheived a great thing for himself and for his country, I applaud him for it and offer him my sincere sympathy that his beloved grandmother did not live to see this day...
