Resetting TOS paperMoney?

Thread Starter
Looking to completely re-set my paperMoney account from TOS to the original $100,000 role as I haven't played with it forever and sort of forgot about it and now everything is out of whack. I did the "Clear Positions" thinng after-hours, and it just brought back all of my previous trades.

Curious if there is a way to re-set the paper account?

Cheers.

My suggestion for a virtual account is trade a realistic amount of capital. If you are going to start with $1k, paper trading $100k isn't the way to prepare yourself.

Go to the Monitor tab in the program. Click the little arrow next to NOT WEIGHTED. Choose position, then Reset All Positions. This will reset your papermoney back to 100k. You can then adjust your starting cash by doing the above again, but instead of Reset All Positions, choose Adjust cash and put in the difference from 100k you want your account to start at.

For example,
You want 1000 starting capital, you would put in -90000.00
etc.

One other thing, if your daytrades do not reset when you reset your account, you may have to go and do a live chat with support to have them reset them for you. This is what I had to do.
