Hey im a newcomer to the forum, i began trading in the market about a year ago with about 1k. before using real money i went to paper and made little money but did not lose. my 1k turned into 690, and i needed the money around that time and took it out. i've put in about 700 recently which is down to about 300 right now.
im using etrade and the brokerage fees are killing me with 12.99 per trade.
also all the good buys that i see, aapl, jpm, v, goog, gme, bidu, etc are all out of my budget.
I find it very hard to make money without any money and with the little money that i have invested into cheap stocks i can afford like fnm don't make me much. any suggestions?

You can try a cheaper broker like ChoiceTrade or Zecco. The truth about trading is it takes a while to get consistently good. You can always get lucky but overall most will lose more than they make until they've put in serious time and effort.

i read as many articles that i can, read wsj, watch news, just always make bad decisions or sell and buy at bad times. I bought WB at about 1.40thinking it wouldn't go much lower than a dollar... it went below .8 so i got scared of it getting lower and sold around $1. it went back up to $5 in a few days.

I bought fnm at 1.20 and around 1.70 i sold it after i found out it was under investigation by feds. It actually kept going up close tto $3.

i've also been buying sirius, i think it will eventually go up but its just keeps getting lower...

You need to focus on learning to read charts if you're intentions are trading. Bad/losing trades are what makes a trader get better, but it takes a long time to put it all together. What are you basing your trades on? Fundamentals? The market doesn't care about them in the short term. Why do you think Sirius is going to go up soon? Even if it does one day, that day may not come for months or years.
