About Frontline Ltd.

Frontline Ltd. (Frontline) has its origin in Frontline AB, which was founded in 1985, and listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange from 1989 to 1997. In May 1997 Frontline AB changed domicile from Sweden to Bermuda and listed its shares on the Oslo Stock Exchange and later on the New York Stock Exchange.

Since 1996, Frontline has been actively involved in consolidation of the tanker industry and has established itself as a world leader in the international seaborne transportation of crude oil, with one of the world's largest fleets of VLCC and Suezmax tankers and Suezmax OBO carriers. Frontline is committed to providing quality transportation services to all its customers and to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the major charterers of tankers.

Frontline's common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Oslo Stock Exchange where it trades under the symbol "FRO".

I like this stock, I mention it because it's modest option volume and upwards trending, though not recommending when that williams drops I'll be for sure watching this

Also nice relation to APA, or any upwards trending Natural Gas/Oil plays

Well I don't know if this company is tied to high oil prices or what but this seems like a steal

I think TNK will yield a higher return. Yeah, I'm the forum TNK pumper. But it's been the biggest winner in my portfolio in the last year.

This is one of my new safehavens; I'll be putting the profits I'd like to protect in this and a few others. Profits making profits = win.

It's steal at under $20. Only up 25% since market bottom; love the potential.

Frontline (FRO Quote) posted a second-quarter profit of 36 cents a share, although that may not be comparable to expectations the oil tanker company would see breakeven results. Revenue tumbled 48.6% to $281.5 million, although that was better than the Thomson Reuters average estimate of $229.2 million.

Is this still a good long-term investments?
There are so many articles about how oil tankers are losing money

Safe to hold til earnings in early Nov?

Anyone liking this stock? I checked it out and am considering getting a long position expecting to have to wait a year or two.

Just a note I am not going to get these stock right now, but plan to pick it up in 6 months to a year when they go down a bit more The insider buying looks more based on the CEO making some bad comments on the state of the industry and a few anaylsts raking him over the coals for it. Suggesting since nobody was doing insider buying they must be sellers. They are basically surviving right now by selling off their ships and other assets.
