Seems that way
I actually chased the 10's from .55 till I got filled at a dollar, next time I'm doing a market order...

Who knew it would hit 12$ today.

Six Presentations at the ADA Annual Meeting will Highlight Data on VIVUS' Qnexa

Last update: 6/22/2010 7:00:00 AMMOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 22, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- VIVUS, Inc. (VVUS) today announced that data on Qnexa(R), an investigational drug candidate, will be featured in a total of six presentations - including an oral presentation, three moderated poster presentations and two poster presentations - during the 70th Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), being held from June 25-29, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. "VIVUS is pleased to have such a robust presence at this year's ADA annual meeting and to have leading experts in obesity, diabetes and cardiometabolic disease presenting data that we believe further highlight the potential impact Qnexa, if approved, may have on the life-threatening comorbidities associated with obesity," commented Leland Wilson, chief executive officer of VIVUS. "As the rates of obesity and their related illnesses continue to grow, we believe that Qnexa may provide patients and their physicians with a much-needed drug therapy in the treatment of this disease. We value this opportunity for engagement with the medical community to share the Qnexa diabetic and glycemic data with experts in this field."

Anyone bot options here? Those preemies are bloated as all get out. Will this be halted all day tomorrow for FDA day?

I was wondering if this was possible. Let's say there was a bear raid on vvus and the stock drops to $6. If I had a limit buy order at $6.01, would it fill?

If there are enough shares being sold at $6.01 then most likely yes.

Is this sort of trade wise? Do a lot of people try to get in on the bottom of bear raids?

My girlfriend has this in her retirement portfolio. She called a while ago to tell me it was halted and to ask what I should do about it.

Apparently I'm supposed to call the NYSE and command them to un-halt trading so she can be free to unload it if she wants. Cause, you know, I can totally do that, heh. Oy.

Anyhow, just a quick question, since I know nothing about this company (or most biopharms, for that matter): This review, is the vibe that it's going to be approved or that it's going to be pulled?
