Man I pegged that one!! Hope you were at your desk when that mini-pullback happened, it just smashed the HOD and if my theory continues to be correct we won't see below 3.05 for a while. The whole 25% plus selloff seemed a little extreme considering 2/3 of it happened on MGIC earnings.

Nope had to go to the gym. Upped it to 3.02 but didn't fill. Will try again tomorrow AM

Got the 3.02's this morning, L2 looks like strong support at 3.00. Decent selling volume at around the time I got filled, but it held on.

i am still looking to see that it holds tho... 2.90 maybe even 2.75 but would be a nice turning point right here around 3

Yeah seemed predictable, but now it isn't acting well. I played it safe yesterday trimming 30% of a large position at 3.11 yesterday right at my cost basis because it has not acted how I'd like. Willing to add those back but will be a bit more deliberate about buying that tranche back.

yep i been just waiting since the drop...still high on my list tho...esp for the mid-long...but is in a sector that changes over night and frequently

Looking good midday as it's bouncing back while the markets hasn't yet, if we can go green and end the day green gonna look really good with good volume and another long bottom wick.

sector wide bounce gojng on the past couple

Classic and time-honored intraday consolidation here in upper 3.0x range, if this breaks 3.10 it should run in a straight line to 3.15. I'm going to lighten my load around there as this stock has done more than enough to frustrate me recently and I'll take a smaller swing here to free cash for other plays.

Nice day today as well for the whole sector like Kev mentioned. Hoping for some follow through tomorrow. Would love to see it go after the 50MA in the coming days before pulling back for the next leg

Anyone buying on this dip today?
Sold most at 3.10 just before close yesterday. I might have bought at 2.94 but was just sitting down from shoveling and lunch. Wondering if this wants to test the 2.67 low from summer. Looking at the weekly, it seems well within the realm of reasonable possibilities, and everyone keeps saying "sector bounce" which is not evident of lots of confidence. The volume today is what really makes me hesitate, that's a bunch of shares for such a dead trading day.

Accumulation/building a base? Still holding, 3.11 needs to be broken with volume. Earnings next week. Didn't get much market time today, but the odd times I did look today, there were some big blocks on the bid. See if we can get a run into next week's earning

Well one look at MTG and RDN earnings and the aftermath and I am not going to hold this one long enough to find out if this is basing or not. I'd rather miss a big runup than risk a dump on earnings, looking at their recent results and how hard they dumped on MTG's earnings, not feeling much confidence at all. This could easily run into the 3.20-3.40 range this week, but my confidence in that is shattered and I'm down to about a 25% position now - 3.04 average and sold some at 3.07 and a big block 3.10 last week just to hedge my bets. Have already exposed myself to too much downside risk on this. I like PMI and nailed it long and short for over half of October but it just isn't acting consistently.

Oh I never hold through earnings usually. I'm just banking on hopefully some type of runup in the next week. If I don't get it, I'm selling out and not chancing it through earnings.

That's cool, just making sure about the earnings. Nice run this morning, and nice gearing off the pullback, I gotta step out soon, would take 3.24 for the rest if I can get it today, otherwise will fish around for something in the 3.20s tomorrow or perhaps higher if we can see it this week.

Rotating these funds into RDN Radian might be a good move here, as obviously they are in the same space and already reported. Showing some good action in RDN.

That's around the area I'm looking for though (20MA/50MA), although would love to see this thingend HOD and then see a gap and go tomorrow AM on the follow through. Currently getting some volume and trying to retest those highs.
