Pretty recession proof and has held it's own while the S&P dropped. Looking at the rsi and momo i believe this is a buy with an exit strategy of $41.5-43

I think if you can buy below management you are gold.

This is a really good one with the greater than 4% yield and in a sector that will be able to pay that dividend when many may not be able to. I will be adding on any weakness. When CD rates crash as a result of rate cuts this stock and VZ should get a lot of attention. Much safer than the banks that could be tank bound at any moment. Use a collar to buy those bank stocks.

Almost One In Three iPhone 3G Customers Switched From Another Carrier: Report
Monday October 6, 2:36 pm ET
By Matt Kapko

Almost one in three who purchased Apple's iPhone 3G in the U.S. from June to August switched from another carrier to join AT&T (NYSE: T - News), according to a new report from The NPD Group. Moreover, the firm concluded that Apple (NasdaqGS: AAPL - News) commanded 17 percent of the smartphone market at the end of August, up from an 11 percent share prior to the iPhone 3G launch. The amount of iPhone 3G customers coming from other carriers (30 percent) may appear significant, but the firm's survey also found that 23 percent of all wireless subscribers in the U.S. switched carriers during the same period. Almost half of the new AT&T iPhone customers switched from Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ - News), 24 percent switched from T-Mobile and 19 percent switched from Sprint (NYSE: S - News) Nextel. Average smartphone prices have also dropped 26 percent from a year ago to $174. Release. Also, according to some creative calculations based on unique ID numbers culled from iPhone owners, analysis indicates Apple hit its goal of selling 10 million iPhones in 2008 with three months to spare, Fortune reports.

NPD says the top four selling smartphones between June and August are:
1. Apple iPhone 3G
2. RIM (NasdaqGS: RIMM - News) Blackberry Curve
3. RIM Blackberry Pearl
4. Palm (NasdaqGS: PALM - News) Centro

Bought 190 shares at 26.16 , dividend pays .40 / share for anyone in as of tomorrow - I feel at these levels its a no brainier to buy! If T cuts their dividends, then it would be a disaster for this stock - but that is unlikely. GLTYA!

Its buying opportunity again for this stock at these price levels ($23-24) and 6% dividend yield....Yay!

This steep sell off was due to the ex-div date of Jan 6th. People want to lock in dividends than dump the stock.
AT&T is a relatively safe stock, and has a good div. I'll pick up some shares if it goes under $26
