Looking bad for Visa and Mastercard today, the sellers keep hitting the bids.

Hmm... think it will dip more? I think we are seeing a low today, will pick up soon...
Oversold, no?

I just bought in, and set a tight stop. Will see what happens.

I'm hopeful this will turn around in the next few days, picked up a decent amount of V calls, June $85's... anyone have any opinion on the short term outlook for V in the coming weeks?
I got in in Friday thinking that V had seen its lowest point, it dropped almost another 5% today. I don't think this will go any lower. Waiting for the upswing as well.

Not a good time to be catching falling knives.

Markets are weak, sit it out and wait for better broader markets.

This government legislation on credit card interest rate caps and fee caps at retail stores is murdering them. Wait till that passes then buy maybe, either way i'd let the dust settle first.

When is that bill set to be voted on or passed?

I had already placed the order, but thank you for your input.

Being on the job all day, I can only get on my black berry the first 30 minutes of the market open and at lunch time. I have to make my trades during those times, set a tight stop and try not to think about the market until I get off.

They voted already and it is going to be added to the financial reform bill. It has a lot of limits on credit/debit card fees and the rates they can charge. So if the financial bill goes to vote soon we'll find out. Might be the end of the week or next rumoring has it. Each state wants to be able to set the maximum interest they can charge too.

Meredith Whitney take on it, good clip:

A bit of bounce for V towards the close, probably due to lack of sellers rather than a rush of new buyers.
ouch...glad I got out at $80 a while back...

I asked this in the BP thread, but what do you guys see this going down to in order to be a safe bet for long holders?

you need to let the dust settle if you just jump in and buy your catching a falling knife, let the pps consolidate and get confirmation of the next move higher, we all like to pick bottoms but unless you have a crystal ball it aint happening
