Not for at least a month or so. No one is going to want to sell options on Visa until the stock settles down after the ipo hype.

I hopped in this am at 58 as well. Long hold here

Wow this puppy is pretty.........

ha, jumped out of POT this morning, and bought in (HESITANTLY) around 58 a share, for a long term investment of course. Ill buy more if it goes down.

Im really suprised it didnt go down more than it did by the end of the day. The dow is down almost 300 points, and it doesnt seem like it dragged visa down too much. I was thinking the market would have more influence on it.

For VMW, options were available in about a week from IPO. So, it could be as early as end of next week.

I agree with others here ....this was a VERY good finish considering what the rest of the market is doing

I missed my buy order that I had in for almost the whole day. I could have grabbed some a few minutes before close @ $56.50 but decided to hold off. If market conditions generally had of been positive (talking about the last month) I think this stock would have taken off. Hopefully with the negative sentiment, we will still have a chance to pick this stock up in the low 50's.

I agree, and also doesn't Visa have no debt either?

I still believe we can get back to around 44....It'll just take some time.

I think one thing to keep in mind is the worldwide appeal that Visa is growing.

In the course of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Paralympics, as the payment card provider to provide the Olympic services, Visa starts the Visa Service Center (VSC) to provide the multi-linguistic emergency services and everyday assistance for the card holders. Within the Olympic venues and non-competition venues, including the International Press Center, the International Broadcast Center and the Olympic Village, the ATM network and POS machines are installed to facilitate the RMB withdrawal by domestic and foreign spectators.

If it hits 44, I will load the boat...Doubt it will see that price for sometime unless the market really tanks and takes it with it. I think there is too much interest to break the 50 mark, JMO

I really doubt anyone will see this stock at $44. I bought a few hundred shares yesterday some at $57, $59, and at $60 for the long. This stock should see the mid $60 today as the market is expected to be better today. VISA is a well managed and run machine and I along with many experts expect this thing to return large profits to it share holder over a short time as did Mastercard which is not as well run and managed as Visa.

12:34 (Dow Jones) Edward Jones starts Visa (V) at hold, citing its high
valuation after gaining 28% its first day of trading. V now trades at about
31 times the firm's 2008 EPS forecast of $1.93. "While we believe this is a
fair price and the significant premium to the market is justified given our
18% long-term EPS growth forecast, we believe it limits upside potential."
