Kevin's HEADS UP - thoughts breakouts trends etc

I will post / state current and recent trends based on CHARTS / TA...
bull or bear trends....after all a trend is a trend...patterns based on pps/vol/rsi/macd and so on...also will give some of the stocks i will be watching and/or playing on any given day/week/month based on my indicators and my opinion of what they may be telling me at that time...and of course i will use company fundamentals in some cases such as mid - long plays...i will be playing some and not others...i am a swing trader more than a  day trader , so often my time frames vary from a couple days to  several weeks or more ++

CANADIAN SUPERIOR ENERGY

there is the obvious higher lows and higher highs...rsi likes to stay above 50...
shortly after shading under the 13dma it seems to rebound to make the next new high...and heres the kicker-i am really reaching for this but...decembers high was made on the 14th...januarys high was on the 14th....hmm...
happy valentines day ??? the most recent high was 3.99 ...and finally the avg % gain from each new low to new high is +16% with the most recent low being 3.50 that puts the new high at 4.06 and thats that...hope this all wasnt for naught

FIRST BANCORP

up 50% in 3 months...heres some basics...seems to like to bounce off the
13dma each of the last 4 times it touched or went a hair under which is where its at now... the avg time lapse between each higher high and thereafter higher low is an avg of 7 days...the most recent high was 2/1...combine that with the fact that each of the last 4 down periods consisted of 2 days in a row....today was red so maybe monday 2/11 is #2...each of the last 3 pullback shave been on avg -12%...to be 12% under the recent high of 10.00 would put it at 8.80 by close 2/11 and then back up if it follows its own lead...each subsequent run up after a low has been on avg +18% so with the avg upturn being of 7 days from the low this would be at 10.38 by tues 2/20 allowing for the holiday...wish it were that easy to grab 18% a week....this is not my opinion just the simple combination of patterns+math which = ???

well this got to my target a lot faster than i thought....wonder how much more there may be if any ?????

3.44 - SNG

SNG - needs to hold 3.44 for me to think there is near term upside...if we lose that level i would not want to own

TUES/WED

if the fisrt day or 2 of the week are green that could be the start of the next leg to 11.00+

wait for entry

SNG - another down day or two could mean we are headed back to 3.00 ....
until then or a new trend pattern...no thanks for now...

PEI

i am a big fan of mutiple bottoms....this to an extent is giving us a triple bottom of sorts...has also broken some minor resistance in the 5-7 $ range...
much more resistance at 12-13$....but it is also very financial and real estate oriented so use caution as these markets may have yet to stabilize...

NEWS - triple bottom

4.50 - 5.00 resist....but even from here to 4.50 is a pretty healthy trade...around 2.60 is the safety net...must be able to watch this regularly or at least daily

PRS

1.05 resist. just broken thru....not a whole lot to stop this one even though ot has more than doubled slowly over the last month or 2...another day or two to be sure there is upside still to come... better safe...

AIM

another one with some recent action that has my attention and looking for a possible reversal...nice gains today in a somewhat down market and this in a slightly off topic sector

HL

definately like the way this one has/is setting up...today looks like a strong move indicating more upside near term...

nice follow up

3 days running...closed at hod today...not in yet...looking for a break and close above .75...

pretty definative move today... + 21%

mythodical climb

from .30 to 1.09 in about 8 weeks....looks good now too....like it to close above 1.10 tomorrow to really peak my curiosity...

really like the recent action here ...especially today...a green day tomorrow and i may pull the tigger and grab this one...

MTG - i was watching this one for a few days now waiting for a move like this...may be the start of something good...
