If you're ever gone to gold shows and met the RAY.v guys you'd realize how much of a promo pumper crew they are

Google the backgrounds on the directors you might be unpleasantly surprised

Personally have not met them, however as an investor who has been in this stock before the potash hype, I know how poorly operated this company is, they follow the hot trends and ae not out to create any sort of value or asset base t seems. Surprised they didnt stake out any land in Quebec during the shale rush. Not trying to bash, but as boombull says do some digging on RAY.v history theres nothing great to see. If you want potash junior i would recommend kcl, pon or maa.

Chart and volume look good. Bought a few for a flip. They have 27M in cash too.

Used to own RAY, lost a lot.
What pushed it higher today?

Too bad. This is one of the few stocks I made alot on. I didn't see any news, I was just playing the chart and I saw the volume pick up. It looks like alot of stuff was up today, especially potash. This commodity bubble is upon us....hopefully. Haha

I hope the commodity run is starting to whinny. It started early in january, coal uranium ags, started to run. Now they have pulled back again but today I saw some pretty widespread gains on my commodity junior list. I made decent profit on Raytec, but i still dont like the ocmpany. MAA, i flipped a few weeks ago sold at .43 for a nice gain. They are a better potash junior. KCL is still great too i think.

If the MACD moves into positive territory, this will take off. Don't forget, they have 27m cash and 51M shares out.

2008 in Review:

Raytec completed a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource for the Spar Property, which reported an indicated resource of 12.49 million tonnes of K2O and an inferred resource of 12.24 million tonnes of K2O.

Since last summer, the general venture markets and the market appeal of junior potash explorers have fallen dramatically. The Company, with a healthy treasury, has elected to curtail its aggressive potash exploration effort and seek an alternative direction to build value.

2009 Focus to Precious Metals:

While management of the Company remains pleased with the quality of the Company's existing assets, it believes that in today's market, a cash-rich company has increased opportunities to acquire interests in advanced, near-term, or producing precious metal projects. With its strong cash position, the Company is well positioned to take advantage of the current economic environment in the mining industry.
