I would pour 4 BILLION DOLLARS into it AT THE MARKET, AFTER HOURS, WHEN the ASK is the THINNEST

Actually, as you may know, SIMO is way too boring for me... and it doesn't make overhyped drugs candidates that will sell poorly, so I cannot play it.

Well I decided not to hold anything over the weekend, so I missed out on the run early on. I did however buy some calls on the dip. I decided not to day trade them though, and hopefully we'll be green on election day.

Yay for my first trade of the month.

Lurking is good but sharing some of your trades would be better. I was up over 80k on my options swing trading account but that crappy dip this morning stopped me out with only 18k profit. Grrrrrrrr.

LVS absolutely carried me today. Up about 10,000 in options (all LVS, pretty much, picking up slackers like RIG, WHR); down 8000 in shares.

2nd time in the past 5 trading sessions I couldn't beat or equal the market in my shares...but I had a streak of 18-some sessions before that where I did...

Wow, I didn't know rolexian was such a big shot. Lucky for getting in LVS. I would get in, but I'm a little wary of chasing.

I wish I could do this on a more full time basis, but unfortunately, I still have school and work.

But I went ahead and sold my calls from yesterday at the open today:

Made 50k on flipping LVS calls this morning in a little over an hour. Gotta love the volatility. It's been consistently providing 18-50k a day easy and sometimes knocking it out of the park with 100k+ days.

I'm a little wary of what may happen tomorrow though, I'm at cash in my options account waiting to see if we have a pullback tomorrow.

Nice work, Joe!

Where's the screenshots, traders?

And this is just the month of October.

I know this is supposed to be for daily profit and losses, but this is epic.

I want to give a big FU to E*Trade and thank TD Ameritrade for allowing me to have these accomplishments.

I was down, but I regained all of my losses and then some in a matter of a couple of weeks.

Thank you everyone for helping me regain my account!

How did Etrade screw you? I use them now and their Ipad app is the shiznit!

I'll have some screenshots up soon on my pathetic trades the past few days. Not pathetic by dollar amount, but because I only squeezed out 8-10% of the trades when I could have returned 25-50% if I hadn't set my stops so tight.
After doing the math, I realized that I could've made an additional $2K if I would have held until the close today.

But, I don't know if I was willing to take that kind of risk.

They didnt necessarily screw me, but TD Ameritrade allowed me to have up to level 3 options instantaneously, while E*Trade was about to make me wait for another few months.

And, I screwed up and day traded more than is allowed in a week and had my account suspended.

it took you 3 days to make 300k or that 1k?

how are short term gains defined compared to the long term gains?

That is one day. You can tell by the date range on his E*Trade picture.

I bought and held that one for three days, the realized profit is just for one day though. I'm on my Ipad now, if I can kick my son off of the computer soon I'll post some more screenshots.

Max, short term gains are holds for less than a year, long term are held over a year and subject to capital gains tax rather than regular income tax.

300k looks like his total profits. 2297 looks like his daily profit

that gain is 341K for that one day after closing his position. it is an absurd gain but that is how Etrade works.
