nobody givin me karma for my calls on monsanto and potash??  tsk tsk..  whers the pat your own back smiley face thing when i need it.

while nowwhat has like 100 karma for his detailed analysis. just saying..  not that it really matters.

I actually like his charts sometimes just he lacks explanation.

bro karma is the bank account

i went out too...

true ze..

important week as MOS reports tuesday.  No guesses here but Monsanto's earnings hinted at some increased demand for ferts..

Id love to see POT break 46 and test resistance of 48 this week.

only 10% move, not too crazy

If bad numbers, then 42 is next stop then 40

Fert orders out of India is highly anticipated as well.

nice report by MOS.  good prices for potash contracts which really helps this beaten down sector.

next stop 47.50 imo

I like the new update to pictures btw

POT poked its head right above that trendline.  I hope it doesnt respect it and breaks above.  Id like to see it at least touch 47.  Give my august calls a little love!

Corn broke above 790 which is past the 4 year high back to 2008.  It aint stopping boys.

id take profits and get the f out

no reason to sell yet..  strong volume still.  good chance of holding that trendline now that its broken.

Gimme a reason Ze

its based on an fake lifitng of corn prices due to dry weather..not a natural demand

once that falls..pot follows

id probably take mid nxt month as an exit..as news dies down...

Its not a fake lifting of prices.  Its supply and demand..  Theres not much supply right now so price goes up.  There is even talk about cutting back on ethanol production as there

may not be enough to do both feed cattle and produce ethanol.

When rains do come is probably too late for the worst areas.  Corn prices have not topped out yet IMO.

Still demand for Potash in south america and china.  Also the southern states can do a late 2nd harvest so they will need fertz to do that.

Another thing going for POT is potential for dividend increase or stock buyback just like MOS did.  And its possible to have increased guidance before earnings like AGU just did..

bam!

yea no getting past resistance this time around. POT downgraded as well. I ducked out at the open for small gain as whole sector was looking weak. mon, mos, pot, corn. all coming into resistance. Even with corn prices still going up we cant get past it yet. damn downgrade just killed the rally...
