Let's just say I'm playing catch up with him (on the profit side)
He and I have some differences:
1) He's more into bio stocks
2) He only goes LONG (I think)
3) He loves to show his gains (I do not)

We traded side by side sometimes and we both came out good

thats awesome! I think you guys trade the same stocks sometimes.....he makes money while it goes up and you make money anticipating that it will come right back down.....

I wonder if anyone still dares to jump in LONG in FRE or FNM?

I don't know, I think there will be a sentiment change over the weekend. It's lost about 75% of it's value since Tuesday, on news of delisting. Fallen way below its moving averages, I'm gonna play contrarian here and expect the bounce to come Monday after a weekend.

I got me a LONG @ 0.41 for some quick bounce

That's great Blowry. You done good trading your self out of a deep hole to cut your losses at a higher price. Consider your loss as tuition to learn a lesson the hard way.

My rules regarding stops
1. Use stops on all your trades
2. Remember rule number 1

Jumped in FNM Friday at .38. I'm thinking a quick trip, waiting for the sentiment of 'Hey! This MIGHT be overreaction!' to kick in. I won't stay long, though.

Originally I bought in at 1.75 then went down big time. Sold at 1.00, and now opened at position again at 0.41 so really not making any money just trying to cover my losses.

Clear out my position @ 0.46 for some nice profit

If U sold your position within 30 days, U will NOT be able to claim your loss.
Read the WASH SALE rule. A lot of traders make this mistake.

I would be very careful about the sailing of this ship.
It can head toward the "perfect storm" soon

I hate the wash sale rule.....I try not to buy the same stock within 30 day period.....
