X isn't looking very good right now. The entire Industrial Goods sector is looking pretty bad on the SPY... not cool!

X is fairing rather well right now, but it needs to get above that $20 resistance level to really get going. Its slightly above the VWAP, so hopefully it can hold on this strength.

i am just happy i averaged down the shares i had. i am now up nicely. fcx is doing very well too. high gold and silver with copper comming up.

FCX is looking real nice right now. So is NUE. Both showing good strength. X is a little more volatile than them. X seems to be starting to rally right now. SPY is up as well. Let's see if we can hold onto these gains. X is running into some resistance at 19.20.

I also averaged down on this when it hit its low of 16.80. Looking pretty good for me right now.

nue is a lot more safe. past couple days i bought some.would be cool to get a 3 day steel rally. wishful thinking but hey.

wrote some covered calls. got 1.70 for march 20.00x calls

Not to further a threadjacking, but I was just coming to post that NUE looks a lot better to me too. FCX looks like it may be breaking out as we speak. NUE is the healthiest steel balance sheet I think.

Seems like X (and every other steel company) decided to give back all those gains from yesterday in premarket. Not cool.

That was annoying. I did not think X would of hit its 23.6% retracement level today but it did. I thought it was going to turn southbound since it seemed to run into resistance at 19.70 so I sold my position at that point, guess some folks wanted it to hit that 23.6% retracement level. God damn it.

mt is at 21 in the pre-pre-market. thats great because x is always just above or just below mt. would be good to hear news the the gov. is helping over seas. serbia is trying to get halp for the factory.

just bought march 17.50 puts at .60

nue just released a warning on earnings. expected a .41 profit but now expects .55-.65 loss. that is massive.

Im in at 18.50, Going long term.

anyone think if this is a good short?
