WOW, got a tip from a friend last week about this one, it appears I was a little slow on my DD . Didnt get any. But after that last day of trading there could still be some upside.

DLL peaked to 0.58 only to drop back down to 0.42 at close Friday, I got in at 0.425. I'm playing day 2.

I might buy some in the am, but will see what the depth is like. I might set up a trailing stop loss
post #12 of 660
Sometimes the market depth is very deceiving. With CMV wednesday night there was absolutley nothing on the bid - it exploded thursday up 50% on 1.5 million shares traded. I was buying it at .30 thurs morning and it looked like it was going to slide further down, then the big boys started buying.
DLL had some deep pockets buying on friday as well- you have to realize there are only about 20 million shares O/S and the freetrading float maybe only half of that. >>.4.5 million shares in one day?? That had to take out a lot of those who wanted to sell. But jmho

maybe there was a lot of day trading

I am not good at reading oil news releases. can anyone tell me what that says in laymans terms?
Certainly looked to be some daytrading as it closed down quite a bit lower than the high of the day. But the fact that there was that many shares traded means a lot were investing based on future gains.
There were 3 main houses selling -ANON , blackmont and Octagon- over a million net shares unloaded .
TD was the biggest net buyer picking up over 600,000 shares, at an average price of .47, as we know it closed at .42

"By applying a 2.5-to-10-per-cent recovery factor, the McLaren field may yield recoverable reserves of approximately 1.58 million to 6.31 million stock tank barrels. New advancements in heavy oil recovery technology may enable considerably higher recoveries of the original oil in place."
At 75$US a barrel , even the lowball figure of 1.58 million barrels has an insitu value of 125 million $ CAN.
DLL's market cap still under 10 million , even after the runup.

Thanks mouser. I dont have a hard time with the mineral grades and such but i guess i should learn more about the oil/gas arena. Any sites that you might recommend me reading?
How long would it take to have a well in operation?
Time to get a well to production varies with the different kind of soil /oil etc . and availability of equipment and people, capital. Oil and gas not really my forte either , although I do understand the basics.

I grabbed just over 20k this AM. I like the upside potential on this.

Here also - have more bids in at .39 and .395, looks good from what DD i could come up with.
