Honestly Ace, take some time off.

The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

You got lucky on a couple trades, but all in all, you need to take the time to learn how to trade.

You need to learn Charts. And learn how to do DD. Learn how to play momentum stocks "sorry, but for the most part, you really don't." You need to learn patience. You need to learn entry and exit strategies. You need to learn a whole lot.

Most of all, you need to learn two things.

Patience and that you can't be in every runner. You always get mad when the stock you are holding is down 3% and something else is up 200% that day, then sell your stock at a loss, buy the other HOD, then lose on that.

That is a very bad habit.

All traders take time off to clear their head and get their stuff together. Its the best thing you can do. Paper trader, and learn.

Best,
Spec

I sitll have WNSH and PEDG

If those go up ill have some money.

Very well said Spectre, Jess follow those recommendations and you should be ok in the future. Take what little money you can out and save it for the future. In the mean time educate yourself, read everything you can get your hands on, stay away from penny stocks; the temptation of big gains may be hard to control but its very, very hard to recover from the hard losses you get from them. Its much easier (most of the time) to control entry an exit points with big board stocks. Research the heck out of every investment you consider and once you think you know enough about the company research some more, use Technical Analysis to find entry and exit points, always buy at support and sell at resistance, and never chase a stock on the way up, if you like the company buy it on pullbacks. Feel free to ask questions, even if you think you know it its always good to have a second prespective on a trade. HSM seems like a great place to start.

Best of luck to you,
Sincerely
Consilium.

With that little of funds, you'd definitely be better off with a Zecco account--I think they got rid of their minimums?
ya use zecco, no minimums and 0$ for 10 trades max a day, and 40 max a month

Yes

I think he is asking because $39 - $7 in commission = $32 worth of stock at .04, which would be 800 shares. So I think he is wondering where the other 25 shares came from, unless you had an extra $1 in your account.

If you're paying commission on that, you are basically throwing that money away. I hope you have a Zecco account.

Man....this is why I have shunned off penny plays. I follow this thread up to "I'm up to $450" then I skip to the end and practically in the red. Yikes!
