no that number is the number of HSM members. chan was joking we could get the amount of HSM members to increase by being at the top of the google search for CNBC's million dollar challenge.

I like AMAT long term just because with global warming and energy costs solar power is going to be huge. Actually it already is especially in germany and parts of northern california. Going to take AMAT a little while to get the solar cells coming off the new factory assemble line. Seems like long term play to me. Other stocks in solar energy have P/E's of 100 to 700. AMAT is at 15 because they have been a chip maker up till recently. Seems like the news about their getting into solar cells is well hidden. Does not show up on basic searches on stock ticker like at yahoo. You have to search around a little. Maybe thats why they still have a P/E of 15.

Not investment advice.

ExplodingWallet, Friday is known for low volume. It was only 2k less than average volume. It is normal for stocks to have considerably low volume on Fridays and I don't see it as a negative.

FP Trading Desk submits: Starbucks Corp. (NasdaqGS: SBUX), which have fallen roughly US$10 since climbing above US$39 in November 2006, could receive a boost as Goldman Sachs has added the company to its Americas Conviction Buy list.

Recent market turbulence compounded by concerns over brand erosion and earnings quality have created a compelling buying opportunity in Starbucks shares – a high quality company that offers tremendous long-term growth prospects,” the firm's analyst Steven Kron said in a note to clients.

His US$43 price target represents upside of 45% given Thursday’s closing price of US$29.59 for Starbucks shares.

The coffee retailing powerhouse could see its shares move following a if the company reiterates its targets and strategy, Mr. Kron said, partly because of the company’s recent weakness and negative publicity.
