Strange, the news was on TOS and now its gone but there must be something to it as the price is up almost 2% in a meltdown

I know there was abritation going on about charges regarding Sprint and by the looks of the jump I would say Clearwire won.

Sprint and Clearwire dispute in arbitration, Firece Wireless reports

Fierce Wireless has a report on a dispute between Sprint and Clearwire Corp. over who gets that extra bit of money Sprint's 4G phone customers pay.

Clearwire is building and runs the 4G network on which Sprint's fastest service operates. The service costs an extra $10 a month for Sprint customers who have 4G-capable devices, currently the Evo and Epic handsets.

The disagreement, according to the Fierce Wireless report, is over the extra $10 a month coming in from Evo and Epic subscribers in markets where Clearwire has yet to lauch its 4G WiMax coverage.

The report said the amount in dispute appears to be about $17 million for Clearwire, an amount Sprint says is not material to its own position.

A potentially more important question is whether the dispute is holding up talks about Sprint providing Clearwire some badly needed cash.

Clearwire has said it will run out of cash mid next year. It's pursuing several sources of funding and Sprint has acknowledged it is one.

The one I seen had more detail on the charges...up 4% as I was typing...6.27

Tip, what do you think is in the immediate future in terms of potential stock price for this?

In the mid term it could test the 8.50 level again if all the ducks fall in place. CLWR is about growth and the earnings will come eventually. The price has been recently depressed because of funding issues which in my opinion is not a problem but because of the high short interest they are all over any negative news. With that I see that Sprint is up also when the telecoms are down so maybe there is a smell of something bigger.

How about a buyout for both companies

I bought S and CLWR stocks and have an order in for CLWR calls just for the buyout!
