In Macau the last week or so they were running tournament specials because business/revenue was bad but during tournament special week business was good so I reckon the numbers will come in good. This is most likely why people are buying calls after the dip. I expect a bounce with some covering this week.

your on top of this one bro.

U ever come through Shanghai?

Does everyone think this bounce will continue upward, or is everyone expecting a round of profit taking followed by another drop down to the mid 30's?

lvs is no longer worth the dime...

Chinese are pretty loud in general laughing.gif Hard to find a quiet spot in HK or China. In HK or China they pretty much literally stand in front of your room in the hotel and just yap away until you come out yelling at them and then they tell you "Bu Hao eesu"  rolleyes.gif

Why didn't I play this obvious bounce off of support??? I even wrote about it at least 5 times last week. confused.gif

in HK i found people nicer and more willing to help.  More crowded but people in general didnt talk as loud as shanghai.  man the chinese talk soo loud on the phone your right it drives me crazy.

When i first came here it always sounded like they were arguing with eachother but its just the tones.  i could talk a lot about other things they do.

LVS looking solid though.  little consolidation today.  40 strike has bigest OI.  im looking to get back in, maybe i should have on wednesday

What calls you buying?  Looks ok but id like to see it backtest a little then make another run at the 50ema.  some decent resistance at 42 here.

When do monthly numbers come out?  InternationalStocks mentioned holiday #'s should be good as he was on the ground.

Seems like a good play.  My target to make a buy is the low 42's.

just ducked under the 50ema.  chart lookin not so great.

I was on the ground this last week and the tables were pretty booked with people gambling. Most Chinese don't just go to look around. Gambling is in their blood lol.. I need to call a friend of mine to see if the numbers were really good this last week.

Just got off the phone with her. Numbers this year are less then they were last year. Compared to average they are higher due to the holidays but compared to before she said numbers were down a bit and considered average so nothing special.

Here in Asia we are definitely seeing slowdowns. In the past when I used to take the Ferry from Hog Kong to Macau when I got off the ferry and took the courtesy bus to the casino I had to wait any where from 15-25 minutes to get on the courtesy bus. This time there was a 2-3 minute wait and the bus was not completely full. In the past it would be completely full with many more people in line outside waiting for the next bus. This is not the case this time. Casino still is packed compared to any casino you would see in Vegas but not like it used to be in the past in Macau.

Thanks for sharing the story man.  Good insight.  I think I will pass on this play then, either way.  Cheers

How's everyone doing? Been a long time. Anyways I'm still in and holding for now. Got in back when it was like $4 sold and bought back several times. Now just kinda hanging in there hoping to see low to mid 50's by EOY IMO.

Just thought I'd check back 2 c if anyone still here from 3-5 years ago.

P.S. lol forgot I had gears of war pic up and I gotta change the message at bottom.
