Dow Jones Newswires
HONG KONG –  Macau casino operator Sands China Ltd. (SCHYY, 1928.HK) will join Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index, the compiler of the index said Thursday after its latest quarterly review.
The index compiler said the total number of constituent stocks in the benchmark index will rise to 49 from 48 following the addition of the local unit of U.S.-based Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS).
In addition, the index compiler said it will add New China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (1336.HK, 601336.SH) into the China Enterprises Index, which tracks the movement of China-registered companies listed in Hong Kong. At the same time, the compiler plans to remove China Railway Construction Corp. (1186.HK, 601186.SH) from the China Enterprises Index, keeping the number of companies on the index at 40.
All changes will take effect June 4, the statement said.

The American Gambling Association reported that domestic gambling revenue in commercial casinos climbed by 3% last year, but the news didn't let Las Vegas Sands Corporation (LVS - 52.39) off the hook with put players yesterday. Roughly 59,000 of these options changed hands, tripling the equity's average daily volume. Most active was the out-of-the-money June 50 strike, where close to 5,900 puts were traded. However, almost half of them crossed at the bid price, suggesting they were sold. Open interest at this strike rose by 298 contracts overnight, indicating that some of the volume was made up of new positions. This option is now home to peak put open interest of 11,186 contracts.

Looking more closely at the data, it appears that a block of 346 calls were sold at the June 52.50 strike, while an equal number of calls were bought at the June 57.50 strike. Because open interest increased at the bought strike while declining at the sold strike, this suggests that one trader rolled up his call position on LVS -- thus strengthening his bullish stance on the equity.

what do you think, is this $47-ish a good entry level for me to get in at? or do you believe this is going to come down a bit more here...

We have a crude rounding top formation going on here so whether we've hit the bottom yet is unknown, as there are no support levels around here.

Looking at the picture below, we can see that there is a strong support level around $42, so I believe we will retest that level before going higher. Do not be surprised if we do not test it however, as we may see a double top form very quickly with this running from its current level to new highs all in about a month.

If you look from June to December, you'll see that LVS is a double top traders wet dream. We will see two big tops form with this by July, it'll be fun to go long and short.

do you think we're at a low here? Or do you see this coming down a bit more before we see some action?

id buy

buttt put a tightttt stop loss

as a high beta..it has the potential to lose like 5$

so a loss of 1$ is better than 5$
