TRIBUTE INTERSECTS TWO ZONES OF BASE METAL SULPHIDES ON COPPERLODE-CORE TO BE ON DISPLAY AT THE PDAC

Tribute Minerals Inc. has received preliminary results from its winter drilling program on its Garnet and Copperlode properties and the final analyses from its fall 2006 drill program on the Garnet property.

On the Copperlode property, the first hole, CL-2007-01, has been recently completed in the vicinity of the Copperlode D, E and Hornet zones. The hole was collared at least 100 metres away from the location of previous drill holes in order to determine whether these zones are joined and could signify a larger mineralized zone. Drilling intersected two zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides, each hosting visible, base metal sulphides. To date, the core from the upper zone has been split and sampled, and sent for rush assay. Immediate follow-up holes will be testing 100 metres west along strike and 100 metres up dip from GL-2007-01. These intersected zones are open along strike to the west, east and updip directions.

On the Garnet property, assays for two of four holes have been completed with initial analyses available. Hole GL-2007-41, collared 125 metres west of GL-2006-35, intersected 120 metres of highly altered, intermittently sulphidic volcanic rocks with best results returning 1.4 metres (1.1 metres of true width) of 2.01 per cent zinc, 0.05 per cent copper, 0.08 gram per tonne gold, 7.8 g/t silver, 2.8 g/t indium. Hole GL-2007-42, collared 575 metres west of GL-2007-41 located on the northwestern side of Garnet Lake, intersected a series of iron sulphide horizons hosted in highly altered rocks returning anomalously elevated Zn and Cu values. Drilling continues on the Garnet property focusing on testing targets beneath Garnet Lake west of the Arrow zone in the vicinity of GL-2007-41. Core from hole GL-2006-39, hosting 3.05 metres true width of 20.3 per cent Zn, 1.23 per cent Cu, 0.47 g/t Au, 28.1 g/t Ag and 33.1 g/t indium, will be on display at the PDAC.

The last indium analyses have been completed for the two zones intersected in hole GL-2006-37 last November. The lower zone, which had returned previously announced values of 1.25 per cent Zn, 0.67 per cent Cu, 0.81 g/t Au and 6.1 g/t Ag, was found to also contain 45.5 g/t indium over 11 metres (8.25 metres true width), while the upper zone with 2.15 per cent Zn, 0.38 per cent Cu, 0.42 g/t Au and 8.19 g/t Ag over seven metres (5.25 metres true width) contained 3.68 g/t indium.

Core samples were split in half using a diamond saw and sealed in secure packages, shipped by bonded carrier from Ear Falls to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay for preparation, and to ALS Chemex in North Vancouver for AU-AA62 assay (gold by fire assay with AA finish) and ME-MS61 47 element analysis (four-acid dissolution and ICP-MS). High analyses (greater than 10,000 parts per million, 1 per cent) for copper, zinc and (greater than 100 ppm) silver were submitted for ore-grade AA62 analysis (four-acid dissolution with AA finish). A duplicate unknown to the laboratory is submitted per batch of 10 samples. A polymetallic standard, unknown to the laboratories, is included with each submission of samples. ALS Chemex fulfilled standard quality assurance/quality control protocols. The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, PGeo, geological consultant, Tribute, and a qualified person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101.

Thanks for refreshing the thread TP. It seems that TBM listened to my advice and formed a flag (it's amazing to me how well this played out technically). These appear to be the lower prices I was referring to.

I sold this one at 80% gain approximately when stock ran from low 20s to high 30s to even past 40. I sold because momentum seemed weak and that was later borne out as stock dropped back into low 20s, yet results continue to look decent.

Tribute Minerals drills 12.9 m of 6.41% Zn at Garnet

2007-07-09 11:14 ET - News Release

Mr. Ian Brodie-Brown reports

TRIBUTE INTERSECTS 4.05 METRES (TRUE WIDTH) 11.5% ZINC, 1.48% COPPER, 1.32 G/T GOLD, 43.3 G/T SILVER AND 48.3 G/T INDIUM

Tribute Minerals Inc. is advising of continuing drilling results on its Confederation Lake belt, Garnet Lake property located in Northwestern Ontario.

Analyses have been completed for holes GL-2007-48 and GL-2007-49 on the Garnet Lake property. Hole GL-2006-49 intersected a section of massive, semi-massive and stringer base metal sulphides with an overall grade of 6.41 per cent Zn, 0.99 per cent Cu, 0.80 g/t Au, 27.1 g/t silver and 27.0 g/t indium over 12.9 metres (10.6 metres true width) from 475.4 metres to 488.3 metres down hole, including a high-grade section of 4.9 metres (4.05 metres true width) grading 11.5 per cent Zn, 1.48 per cent Cu, 1.32 g/t Au, 43.3 g/t Ag and 48.3 g/t indium. The hole tested the Arrow zone 40 metres down-dip from the original discovery holes GL-97-2C and GL-97-04. This intercept extends the centre of the Arrow zone down-dip as it is located approximately 40 metres west and along strike of previous hole GL-97-05 that had interested no significant sulphides and was originally thought to locally cut off the Arrow zone at depth. As a result of this intersection, hole GL-2007-50, for which analyses are pending, has been drilled to test the Arrow zone 60 metres down-dip of GL-2007-49.

Hole GL-2007-48, which was drilled to test the Arrow zone west of previous hole GL-97-12 in the central part of the Arrow zone, intersected mixed stringer and massive iron and base metal sulphides. Analyses returned values of 2.61 per cent Zn, 0.42 per cent Cu, 15.3 g/t Ag, 0.70 g/t Au and 24.6 g/t indium over 3.5 metres (2.9 metres true width) from 391.0 metres to 394.5 metres down hole. Drilling continues on the property.

High analyses (greater than 10,000 parts per million, 1 per cent) for copper, zinc and (greater than 100 parts per million) silver were submitted for ore grade AA62 analysis (four-acid dissolution with AA finish). A duplicate unknown to the laboratory is submitted per batch of 10 samples. A polymetallic standard, unknown to the laboratories, is included with each submission of samples. ALS Chemex fulfilled standard QA/QC protocols. The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, PGeo, geological consultant, Tribute, and a qualified person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101.
