He did it on the day the Nasdaq crashed. I never could get out of him which company it was. He doesn't like to talk about it.

Looks like VNDA will be trading flat today and maybe even tomorrow. The dip wont kick in until monday imo, assuming that this would behave similar to DNDN

Ace, I have a question.

How is this situation with VNDA compared to the situation with DNDN?

All i've heard about VNDA is that they received FDA approval for this new schizophrenia drug, not sure if that is the final step before they start marketing the product yet, need someone whos more sophisticated with the complete procedure to explain.

Ace, did you start to get in DNDN at 6? Did DNDN jump from 3 to 6 then 24 and eventually to 27? DNDN's new drug has already hit the final stage so I don't think there will be anymore legs left until they finally put out the product.

I'm just not sure if VNDA is already near the end of the drug development, or could there still be news....anyhow, I'll be watching this tmr. If this still trades flat tomorrow, which I hope it does so I can load up more puts, and I'm guessing this will go down next monday to 5

I agree with your watch for VNDA tomorrow....I'll be doing the same thing. I got out of DNDN before the data announcements...but it did jump quickly: I posted the time frame in the thread yesterday I just don't know if you saw it....I have to look back real quick to make sure but I think it was around 6-7 prior to the first jump.

Also Norlan, even though I feel like I played it wrong with DNDN calls at 22 and 25, I'm optimistic that prior to OX it will creep back up. At least I really hope so....

i would try not to stress myself over may call, maybe try to look for june or other later calls. Biotechs take a long period of time to get stuff done, unlike financials.

Again, I'm not socially involved with the biotech sector in real life so I'm still clouded about the whole development procedure for a new drug, from development to production to marketing.

But common sense tells me that the next thing for a new drug thats been tested and earned approval should be signing legal papers and start marketing the product? anyhow, i dont' think it will be too huge of a pop in the next turn

Hopefully this weekend presents some time for analysts to really take a look at VNDA again. Then maybe some time in the next couple weeks we will start to see analysts initiate coverage on and/or upgrade the stock.

I'd be careful about shorting or buying puts for those of you thinking about it. I think the downside here is quite limited, but there is plenty of room to go up.

That's just my 2 cents. I got back in after hours on Wed. at 10 and I'm still holding. wish I wouldn't have canceled my limit order for 12 premarket that night, but whatever. I'm in it for at least a month. If we hit 15 by then I'm out and will watch it for awhile, otherwise I'm holding until Dec.

Broke 10 today, hopefully it hangs on to it.

Keeping that volume it has will definitely help

In most cases (like GM for instance), when CEOs and top execs drop their shares there's almost no clearer sign for the public folks like ourselves.

In this case however, I'm not quite sure--seems like smart profit taking to me
