After Hours: 44.95 -0.05 (-0.11%) - Jul 7, 4:43PM EDT

broke 45 support, further down to go before actual recovery

Jumped out of my FCX calls after being up 9% for a 10% loss before the extreme nosedive this late afternoon. I didn't like the price action after being up 46+ so I bailed with a small loss.

The new regulation rules didn't exactly play in the favor of commodities and apparently the dust wont settle for a while. FCX might retrace 40 if AA's earning fails to sustain investors' interest in the market

FCX back to 50 again

cool - i was in for 5 at 1.85 yesterday. I'm not anticipating a huge dip - but definitely thought there should be a pullback here.

Gartman says he's a buyer of FCX if it drops down another $2... $53.50ish.

I think the best possible assisting tool for predicting copper prices that you may use is crude oil.

possibly Norlan. But piggybacking Dennis Gartman on anything commodity related probably isn't a bad idea...

Pre-market: 62.95 +2.65 (4.39%)

broke 60 resistance, trading on weakness of dollar or is it b/c of bull market?

UUP is up a bit, Pre-market: 23.35 +0.03 (0.13%), either one should go down as market opens

China industrial output, investment growth below estimates

HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- China's industrial production and investments in urban fixed assets increased at a rapid but slower-than-expected rate in July, keeping alive expectations government policies will continue to support an economic recovery.
watch out, more drops for commodities

This stock is on my watchlist now, just do not know when to begin scaling in.
I'm watching too. If it gets to 53, as Gartman pointed out before this latest pop up, I'll start scaling into calls. It went from 54 to 65 in 4 days, so retracing to 53 on global demand concerns isn't a far cry. It's sitting at decent support right now, but I have a feeling it won't be much longer.
Yes that sounds like a plan. I would be happy if it pulls back mid 50s before buying some.

2.93 copper should really be helping out on earnings. ihope to see 3.00 break next week
