Theta9's chart:

Crazy movement today.  Was watching 8.25 as resist but it broke that.  Watching 8.40 next and then $9.  I'll probably sell near 8.40 though.

Got out at $8.40 (minor resist there) - looking to get back in around close on longer expiration calls since we did break $8.25 today as a whole (strong buy signal on my program).

Edit: Have to see the price near close first though - buy signal today can be completely cancelled out if the candle is no good.

Tried to get in this morning but it gapped up a bit. Placed an order at gap fill price of 8.19 which filled sometime before 2 pm. Do not fail now BAC.

Good luck.  I didn't like the candle put out at close, so I didn't re-enter.  Am neither bullish nor bearish on this though, just not enough confirmation for me to work off of.

Thanks pftq but, I am out now, just was not feeling it right now and was not happy buying it while some indicators are on the high  side. I guess all the hype sucked me in. Out tonight in after hours with a $2.50 profit after commisions. LOL.......I will buy 2 lottery tickets with that.  Watch this thing break out now that I am gone. laughing.gif  Good luck  longs, hope it takes off for you.

nowwhat, why do you even post on these forums if you post charts without any information and no unique input?

Bac's chart is a beauty. Higher highs higher lows from the recent bottom. Buy the dips. The bullish trend is only over when it breaks $7.57.

Banks usually benefit quite well from stimulus packages from the government. I say if we see QE3 then BAC should see $11-12

Large buy just went through on intraday.  Timed very well with SPY bottom for today; keeping an eye on this.

Looking bearish at the moment. Not sure why but it looked bullish earlier on last week hmm.gif

I'm surprised nobody has talked about BAC today, it closed up 5%. No doubt it is benefiting from the ECB plan that Draghi unveiled to release unlimited bond buying to stem the sovereign debt crisis in Europe. BAC is a very cheap stock right now and the only thing keeping it low is uncertainty, mainly regarding European exposure. Financials all rallied today as the sector was up over 2% last I checked but BAC has been especially well served.

Hello, I'm new to the site and quite frankly stocks as well.  I recently invested in BAC and C after doing some research expecting an eventual recovery.  I plan on holding onto the shares for some time hoping to cash in over the long run on the recovery, dividends and the strong CAD right now.  After reading your posts, only the last couple pages, it seems that the general train of thought is that BAC will hit 9-10$ and drop off again, is that correct?  How long do you think even a 50% recovery of the stock (28ish$) would take (years I expect)?

Sorry for what you may think are stupid questions, but looking to learn a bit and get some experienced insight.

Thanks!

AJ

I trade BAC a lot and i plan on holding it until it hit's $10 as i do think it will get there..The big question beyond that point will be whether it fails at that level and sells off or whether it consolidates at or just below will tel what might happen next..Watch the volume as it comes into $10 if it is expanding it could breakout ..GL

Keep watching the site i will update my trades and also follow the daily market forum there are a lot of good traders in there..
