Almost tripled consensus estimates (0.12$) and posted just about half the annualized consensus forcast in just the first quarter (0.67$). Not looking so expensive now imo. Extrapolated out, 12$ would be a very reasonable price target this year. Historically BAC has paid out about 45% of its earnings in the form of divi. I could see 0.50$/yr by this time next year or a really nice share repurchase (which I would far rather see).

ugh can't believe i didn't play this. Those 9p hit a LOD at .04 right at the open, closed at .26! Thats like 2 days this week those $9 weekly puts have done 500% or more if you played a fade at the open.

Well this sucked. Up over 3% at one point then ends down. All the time Morgan Stanley was up over 2.5%.

if any euro bank shit spreads...bac is gunno get killed..no doubt about that....

 

so far it looks like people are slowly positioning themselfs for a market collapse...

 

but looking for next week to confirm...

 

tech giants and high betas are falling off a cliff incl banks

 

and money flowing in to blue chips

 

watching gld, silver, x, xlk, bac

Show me the volume you speak of? Today's 50dma break vol. was 7% below the 30day average (meant for DAX)

I don't know why these idiots in charge don't front run these issues and stop letting market bullies push them around to the last minute. The only REAL problem in the world economies right now is purely Phycological. Change that and you will get stability and we can move on. Every meltdown speculated since the fall of Lehman has NOT happened. I like Laggard's release of progress before the last minute. Who knows.......

 

What are we all afraid about now?...i can't keep track, but would bet my house it's not going to happen.

Apple  down 2% today, over 11% in a week

cmg down 2.5%, 4.5 % this week

pcln down 1%, 5% this week

qcomm

google, lulu, sndk...all techs are exit now

 

ALL US BANKS...gs (my fav!)...etc etc seen -5-8%

spain, italy, germany (-2% from the peaks of the week) markets hitting 52 week lows

 

suprising the eu banks are doing decent

 

Up:

 

walmart: 1% today, 3% in the week

vang reits up 1.2%, up 3% in week

healthcare reits up 2%, 4% in a week

xel up 1.7%

MO up

deo up

mfst up (tech)

costco flat??

mcd???

suprised that X isnt taking a dive too

 

gld, silver,,, no direction
