Man this is one of the largest financial institutions in the world trading for peanuts. This opportunity will not last forever. I was very greedy on this one in the last year, VERY. The price I figure in 5-10-15 or more years from now is substantially higher. Does anyone even remember the day to day of ten years ago.....NO.  people will have long forgotten about this "crisis" and ill still be holding, ratcheting up my stop until the next generational tanking at which point ill cash out a 10 bagger + 10 years of divi's. ill take that chance all day long. Talking to myself again.

10 bagger from these prices?? only if you believe BAC will be worth $1 trillion...

No one knows if BAC will be around 10-15 years from now. Do you know how many banks have failed since 2008? More than 300!

I would recommend you do some more research before making any big decisions

Everyone are saying sell in May, Sell in May.

Get rid of everything already.

Buy back a few hundred million shares in the next decade and you don't need a trillion dollar valuation. Also, 1 trillion dollars in 10-15 years will not be that much at this rate anyway. Obviously none of those 300 banks that failed were as systemically important. I'm betting the US will recover substantially one day and they will need BAC and the like to do it. Not that much of a stretch...the whole developed world needs each other to function and a BAC failure would cripple the whole system far worse than has been seen to date. I've done and continue to do my research. There is supposed to be this kind of debate or this opportunity would not exist. I'm betting the huge number of guys like you are wrong. Nothing personal. I believe my scenario of slow healing is much more likely than a world exploding in ball of fiery hell that the alternative and media sometimes suggests

you do realize that the retail banking model will be dead in 7-15 years right? The smaller banks will be eaten by the larger ones.

Only reason who one will survive, at some unknown price .. is the name. Thats simple, the name holds it up as its the Bank of America..

50% owned by institutions doesn't make me smile too much. Now if this will apply to BoA or not.. dunno, but they will need to do a F/S (or buyback) to get out of this single digit stock price rut or low teens.. since everyone believes they are worth more.

I agree that buybacks will be necessary for important price gains. But BAC is much larger than it was prior to 2008 (ie Meryl and countrywide). Atlhough housing drags today it may be a huge asset at some point in the futur. No one is building these days, at some point that is bound to catch up.

Also, some analyst have suggested 3$/shr annualized earnings in a normalised environment. I find that very aggressive at this share base but a case can be made at many price points and that is why I think we see such volatility. My average is just over Buffet's warrants and Im comfortable at that valuation long term

22 hours from now BAC releases Q1 earnings. I bet whatever happens the stock won't move more than 2% in either direction.
